I'm already standing for the upcoming election as part of the Save And Quit party with extra attention on the secondary policies of Immediate Reload After Death, Single Player Games Must Be Able To Be Played Offline and Why Do We Need More Launchers?

And now the game has crashed three times and suddenly doesn't like my controller, all of which is much worse than not having a quicksave.

I think these crashes are related to the controller tantrum that the game seems to be having. For some reason, all of a sudden as it wasn't like this for the previous 5 hours, it doesn't detect the left stick very well and the poor chap does a run/walk/run/walk stuttery action (I think the controller is fine as it's working for other games and Windows is detecting it without any badness) and after a bit of this nonsense the game freezes and then ... goes away.
So I switched to mouse and keyboard today and successfully managed to complete the little side quest without any issues. Well, no issues apart from having to try and dodge with the mouse and keyboard.
More fingers needed.
