I don't understand all the Epic hate. :dunno:

Neither do I really. I saw a comment the other day from someone complaining about them using exclusives to force people onto their platform, yet they are quite happy to use Steam which pretty much did exactly the same thing. You used to buy a game on disc and yet had to have a Steam account to play the game that was right their in it's entirety on the disc in you hand.

Yeah, ALL exclusives are annoying and just the concept of a "launcher" is so infuriating (but that Bethesda one was a special kind of glitch-ridden cancer!)
The only thing that makes me slightly prefer Steam is the fact I can go to the shop down the road and buy a gift card and that spares me having to hand over bank details. :)

*Opens her Epic Games launcher*
Seems I only have Subnautica and Thimbleweed Park on there, neither of which actually needs the launcher to play. (But I've downloaded them when they've been free on Epic, so, that's why...)

Ditto for the latter.
I also claimed The Witness from there but I have no intention of installing it at the moment.

I'm trying to install witcher 2. It's been working all night and is only up to about 75% by now...

...aaaand I "accidentally" just bought Aven Colony... yes it's a city builder. But futuristic/extraterrestrial! :woohoo:

Ah, those "accidental" buys. ;)

It seeks seems like ages since you played a builder game. Get constructing! :pirate:

Alas, it's still installing. The witcher 2 is done, though. Aven is just above 35% :eyeroll:

(I know it's a lot of gigs but it still seems to take ages...)

Yes, the endless installing of numerous Gigabytes on the shrinking space of my hard drive is another thing I don't like about PC gaming.
Even console games are like that these days. I remember hearing that recent Red Dead Redemption game was over 100GB!

PS: Correcting my typos is a massive job, you really shouldn't volunteer to do it.
