I don't have any of the big "new world" mods but I have thought about getting that one. Is it worth it?
Anyway I've been doing some Death Stranding deliveries today and...
No.
Very big no.
Guess again.
What happened to all those ladders I found last time?
I did manage to do a controlled "fall" down that drop without doing too much damage to the cargo but I did have to take a moment to calm the baby down again. And then I found a big sinister gap in the route that had looked like a plausible path on the map but clearly wasn't.
Can I...
Can I jump that?
I did!
But it was scary!
I later realised that I'd taken a wrong turn somewhere and hadn't gone along the route I'd planned cos instead of arriving behind the Doctor's little cabin I had to abseil down a large cliff from above.
So the journey went wrong but the delivery was successful.
Before continuing the Heartman story I was doing a little lap of newer standard jobs with the intent of returning to Heartman's from the direction of the Roboticist. Once again, it looked like a good plan on the map but ...erm...
The enormous number of abandoned vehicles I saw along the way clearly demonstrated that many other people had had the same silly idea.
And I did indeed add to those abandoned vehicles after having to ditch one bike on a near vertical ledge and then letting a wrecked purple truck wreck itself further as it freewheeled down a snowy slope.
Keep on keeping on.

Any an all misspellings are henceforth blamed on the cats.

Well... It's free.
But that said and acknowledging that I haven't got very far, I think I like it. It is very Solstheimy in the sense that there's a main quest that leads you there (they need help with a dragon) and when you get there they have a notice board where you can pick up several other side missions. The island is probably smaller than Solstheim but there's still a fair bit to explore. So far the only thing that annoys me is that there seem to be a perpetual thunderstorm and the lightning flashes are blinding (like head-ache inducing blinding which isn't very good for someone who always has headaches as it is)
Edit: Oh and the main quest is done with a group of hired mercenaries who tend to get in the way a bit but they also manage most of the killing so I'm OK with that... for now.
