I bet the old man will give you a jar of pickled herring!
Oh, it was better than that.
He gave me a magic ring that allows me to breathe underwater.
Why the hell didn't he give me that before? Then I would have been able to dive down for more than three seconds so that I could actually see the fish I was trying to kill instead of doing the floaty head, blind sword-splashing stuff like this...
Would have made the quest a whole lot easier.
After getting out of the water I ended up taking the wrong turn trying to get back to his house and found this rather epic looking place...
(I'm continuing to be impressed by the distant landscapes in this game. Seems way ahead of its time.)
I wonder what the big statue is? And if there's a way inside somewhere?
But not now. That's another thing to explore later. I have to get back to my horse now. Well, not "my" horse. The borrowed one. Memo to self: I HAVEN'T stolen it.
Oh and that reminds me. Just before I left the priory I had one last chat with everyone there to try and find out more about that chap at the stables that people didn't want to talk about (there's something going on there) and when I spoke to Jauffre he flipped out, got angry and took some of my stuff!
Then I realised that after I'd spoken to him before I'd done a bit of snooping around and snaffled a nice outfit including a stylish shirt with a collar and when I'd gone back to him he'd noticed that I was wearing his stolen clothes.
Second Memo to self: When talking to the locals make sure you're not already wearing their pants!
