Remnants From The Ashes looks interesting on the Epic Freebies.
Grabbed it earlier and may try it out on GFN later if login permits. :)

Thanks for the tip. I just keep getting Fortnite updates at the moment (the notices that usually mention epic freebies).

It may be one of those games where the single player is not as good as the co-op but I'll still give it a go.

Meanwhile I've been struggling with a fishing quest in Oblivion. Not your usual fishing, sat on a riverbank with a rod and bait enjoying the sunshine. No, no, no. :nope:
This is fishing at night by diving in a lake and swinging a sword underwater at mostly nothing cos I can't see where the damn fish are. I know that they ARE there cos they keep killing me.

Definitely sword-swishing but not much sword-fishing. :)

It still hasn't appeared on GFN yet so forget that idea for tonight. :eyeroll:
The Steam version is there but I guess I'll have to wait another day or two for the Epic version to be rolled out.
But in other freebie news... Total War Saga: Troy is free from that same Epic place but only for 24 hours so dash quick if you want to claim.

AND I also saw that Bethesda are offering up Quake 2 and 3 if you can tolerate their launcher. I think I'll pass on those cos Google has just made me realise that they're much older than I remembered.

Night Fishing Edit:

It's now daylight and I'm still neck-deep in the water doing my angry "Lady Of The Lake" act splashing my sword at fishes that I can't see.

Only three more to go. I was at "two more to go" but the next one killed me so back to the last quicksave. :pirate:

Quake 2 was pretty good, I have the console version. I think Quake 3 is the only one in the series I haven't played, as far as I can recall it was more focused on multiplayer deathmatch shenanigans.

:pout:

I was so busy taking screenshots of my fishing that I didn't quicksave properly last night. :shakefist:
So instead of two fish, or three, after reloading I had to get another six! SIX!!
More sword splashing ensued but I now do have all the fish I need.

*saves properly* :stare:

What's all the fish for? Pickled herring?

EDIT: oh grrrrr :pout:
That game from epic (no I can't recall the name) said it needed 8 GB space, so I installed it on my laptop. It took up significantly closer to 60 GB! :stare: Now my poor windows is in the red, again.

I have to give the fish to the old man who couldn't be bothered to do the hard work.
He'd better offer a decent reward for my efforts or I might be swinging that sword again!
