I think I'd like some horns, maybe of the curly ram/goat type. And of course he'll need some hair. Much hair.

Yeah, something like that will do nicely.

I bet they smell bad on the inside too. :)

I could just flip the normals to make the inside the outside. :dumb:

Did a little test with the hair system last night.
And now I'm thinking that I should make a start on a 2D painting for the challenge instead.
It did not look good.
Videos will have to be watched.
Tutorials will have to be read.
Learning must happen. :stare:

Otherwise...

Not too bad. Looks a bit like a white Moncchichi :giggle:

He could maybe do with a bit more variety in hair colour and length, but other than that he doesn't look too bad

Yeah, I think I know how to have the hairs "pick-up" the colours from an underlying texture so that may be the next thing to try. For this test I was just trying to figure out how to use weight-painty vertex groups to stop the hair growing out of his eyes.
I wanted a bit of baldy chest too but that looked really goofy so I patched that up pretty quickly.
But combing the hair is so damn fiddly! I wish there was an easier way to make it flow naturally on the body. Perhaps the answer is in the physics options but that's yet more learning and I can only learn one thing at a time. :dumb:

And after all that I then had to kill a Frost Troll in Skyrim...

and got annoyed at how much better that looked. :pout:
