The way I would normally do it also wouldn't be in Blender

Is there some super easy way to copy a bit of UV texture mapping from one part (ear) to the other?

...

(Unwrapping the ear before duplicating it would have made it easier... if only you had done that  )

It's not great, but I'll need to see it in the game, I think, before I can decide if it needs to be edited or if the texture just won't fit in... or whatever...

You have some distortion on the face area, and the side of the head is running a different direction form the rest., I guess it doesn't matter much if he's made of straw. At least he's upright, unlike the (definitely not) dead one from before

There's plenty of distortion all over the place. But the side of the head straw is actually supposed to be in a different direction to the rest of the head... But maybe I should have done it over a larger area... :hmm:

I did wonder if that was intentional. Yours is limited to the patch on the side of the head, while the real one goes down the full length of the snout. Not that they have to be the same of course, his little leggies are different from the ref as well, but I like they way they run around the body like that.

Well that's just one pic showing the direction on the cheek. I looked at a whole page of halmgrisar and then just did something similar....I haven't followed any one ref, really. (I hardly ever do...)
