Perhaps the last photo was to symbolize how you're flushing away that gloomy past to look forward to your brighter future.

I never looked at it that way, but hell I like the metaphor! I'll go with it!

Done Kazky, I'll try to get some up tomorrow of my neighbourhood for ya.

OK so I decided to try to keep this pendulum in motion with my art. I seem to be a good flow being in a new place. So I'm going to do my best to post at least one sketch that I'll do before I go to bed. We'll see how this goes. It could be anything even just a page of pose studies but here is the first. Don't ask, no clue. :pinch:

Done in Pen and Indian Ink about 20 min.

well I decided aside from a bedtime sketch I'kl do a wake-up one as well, whatever it may be (especially in this case).
I haven't messed around with mix media for awhile. A friend from work picked up some artists pigment powder from France. So I tried that out a bit today. I mixed the pigments with White Gouache.

Pen and Ink, Gouache and pencil crayons.

Awesome artwork! Packed with energy and story! You could turn all these into a comic book!

About a 5 minute walk from my place is Stanley Park. Its Canada's largest city park about 1000 acres. Here are some images of the entrance to the park Lost Lagoon, and some info on the park if ya can read it.

That looks beautiful Mike and kinda like I remember it looking, wide streets and it just seemed "peaceful', it's probably not anymore but it still looks it :)

Thanks for posting them

I'm a bit envious... I wanna be there too!

But anyway I I love the inked painting of the idian! It has so much expression. He looks a bit as if we disturbed him while he did some creepy rituals or something like this. really really nice :)

If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense.Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't.
