oh wow

This looks pretty good and as Val said: very ambitious !

I love the idea reading a comic by listening a song and the comic exactly shows what I hear. Wonderful. Won-der-ful- !

If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense.Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't.

Top row... Top row! Oh, we haven't got a top row yet :( maybe one day.

The other day when I was scrabbling around in a hurry to get some images for the new Top Row, I remembered writing this post but I couldn't find it at the time (in hindsight I probably should have used that search function I went to the trouble of sticking up there ). Anyway, now you have revived this thread I finally found it, so you are now up there.

@Valence, Thanks for the kind words. Forethought? Ha maybe a little but my thoughts when doing something along this line are very very scrambled at first. In time it works itself out, but there is a lot of writing and scratch sketches in my mini sketchbook/workbook/journal that happens to make things seem I guess....a little less scrambled. :P

@CherryGraphics, Thank-you kindly.

@Banj, WOW thank-you Banj, that is quite an honour. Thanks again...I'm speechless what can I say. Dam it Banj!!! now that you put me up there I guess I can't pull any more disappearing acts for sometime. :P

So when I woke up today I went through some old sketchbooks (all which are black, so I put some years on them for me)

I found an old project I was part of. In the end it never panned out for anyone. But I thought you might like to see some of the early stuff I was doing in my sketchbook. The plan was to take some of this to digital painting, but like I said the project went KA-PUTT!!!!

So here are some concept scenes (roughs....AWW hell its all roughs :pinch: ) A cartoon self portrait with a big ass spider on me ed! Some Character Roughs, Some story board stuff too. All from 2011 (sorry if yer offended by ol' crap, but I am old :P )

This might be an odd place to share this but it does relate to sketchbooks and my art sooo....

I mentioned in G.D. that I finally moved. I wanted to share with you the old space to the new. I never ever did any art in the old place. A: I had no space to draw B: to dark. The new space is fantastic more natural light more space. The old place was a shared wash room bathroom no visitors or guests. The new is I have a roomate a fellow artist that owns his own animation company. The stay here is only temporary (6 months at most) until his wife comes back from Japan. But here are some pics for ya.

The New.

Aww bergy, the old place looks like a cell :( the new place looks fantastic, where do you actually live? And what are your plans after the 6 months? (And no it's not sharing too much) lots of us have 'virtually' known each other for nearly 10 years now!

Agree, nice to see you have a place to your liking and that it allows you more art time. Hope you find something even better if you do only have the 6 months with this one. ... Also, nice to see some of the older stuff too. Thanks for sharing. :)

I get sketchy around pencils! ...=D

No that wasn't sharing too much ..... until the toilet photo. :)

A day without a bog selfie is always welcome.

But it's great you have so much light now to see those fantastic comic pages you work on.

@ Kazky I, live in Vancouver British Columbia Canada, I'm in area called the West End, Its Just west of the Downtown core. Ill post some pics of my neighbourhood to give ya better idea on my days off. If I'm not to busy inking my Nick Cave Comic. My plans after the time is up here is to have a place in the west end. Now I have a base of operations which is great since I'm right in the area where I want to live. Everything is in walking distance. SO i just need to walk around and look for a place, that's cool. You are right the last place was a cell. Never ever wanted to be home. When I was it was to sleep only. Drank almost every night to help with the sleeping. Since I've been in the new place I haven't had a drink for 19 days now. So ya it was step in the right direction. It all happened by fluke. But I'm firm believer that things happen for a reason.

@Dave, Thanks Dave So do I, I'm sure I will too. Glad you like some of the old stuff. It's just nice to be back again and having the space to work on my art at home again. ;)

@ Valence, Ahh, just as I posted this saw your message, (yes in edit now) Maybe the can was to much. :pinch:

Perhaps the last photo was to symbolize how you're flushing away that gloomy past to look forward to your brighter future.

Good luck with it all!
