Michael S Berglands Sketchbook...New Computer. Ya!

That really sucks Bergy, and yep, we all do it. And will do it again I'm sure. We always say I need to make sure to remember, but I think we get so caught up in the artwork, that we eventually forget again. I wish you could set it up to auto-save every 5 or 10 minutes or so. Unless you have a clock nearby, that will sound off every 15 minutes. As long as you pay attention to it. :) ... Like everyone else, look forward to the updates.

I get sketchy around pencils! ...=D

Yup. All that was left was my Jameson's bottle to color in. Oh well. So I went back at it. But did not feel like ccoloring panel 1 so I finished 2 instead and started 3.

As promised here is some stuff from my sketchbook with some descriptions on my mental process and how I figured some of this all out. I hope you enjoy seeing this side as well.

Thanks Gix, and you're welcome :P

Here is some random stuff from the same sketchbook. They were all inked with Fable Castle markers and colored with Touch Felt Markers. Which I lost in a cab awhile back. :(

Love the color sketches. You need to find that taxi and get your markers back  or get a new set :pinch: .

Agree with Gixgidea; cool to see some of the thought process in creating this.

Thanks Kodabble.
Can't find the cab. It was a few months ago. The set was like 200$cdn. +tax. Plan on getting a new one someday I might pick up some Coptic markers thou.

Loving the sketches. Too bad about the makers. I think I would have turned the world up side down looking for them.
I thought I left one of my favorite makers at a restaurant once and before I found that it had fallen under the seat in the car, I almost made my wife turn the car around to get it.

I love Copic markers, but they are so expensive.

Yeah, I like copics too. I bought a bunch when I was in Japan last.

If you can use them the way you have used these markers Mike, then I say get a bunch and get some more work posted up! These are great!

I absolutely love this sketchbook stuff!

Everything's on the right!!!

It's like driving abroad!

Thanks Gix and Domtopia.

Gix Oh yes I did. I ran after that taxi like the wind pants almost falling off in the chase. But the cab was to far ahead of me. I called the lost and found but no luck.
Hopefully in the near future I'll get some new markers Dom. Glad you're enjoying the sketchbook stuff. I hope to post some more stuff soon as well as Pages 1 17 and 18 flat colors.
