More tips! I got the term from Feng Zhu but I added my take on it as well. Detail density!

Crank you're the hardest studying artist I know right now ! It's a great idea though, fundamentals are what make your art look amazing, engine room is coming along great. :woohoo:

I always try to remember about the light dark rule, have light on dark then light etc in layers to show better values and depth especially with 3d objects.

Thanks Mirco! That means a lot to me! I think everyone should grind the fundamentals regardless of skill level. Updates! Study of tilted horizons and tilted views and anatomy.

This is gonna be a bit out of date as I'm referring to the previous post with the figure studies but I do like the sketches on the lower half of the second picture. There's a real sense of mass, movement and energy to them which is always very hard to capture in a static drawing.

Thanks Valence! I'm now adding muscles to the figure and I'm finding it very hard to get the gesture and balance correct. Maybe I just need more practice.

Update on my engine room! This is really pushing my perspective skills to the max! Tons of measuring, scaling, depth, multiplying draw thru, etc.
