Some update on my engine room. I'll be posting some more work/self critique on why I changed it soon. This was quite hard to get the lines right particularly those gentle curves/fillets. 3/4 view and rough 1 point perspective front view.

Updates on my engine room. Not really updates just a bit on how I design things and where my ideas come from.

Self design critique. Designing stuff like this is almost like engineering.

Some of my references taken by myself. Fixing cars 8 hours a day builds a very powerful design library and design language.

I like all the different views to this, I can get a clear sense of all of its dimensions as if it's right here in front of me in real space.
And it shows how much you understand your own ideas and how to express them. Really good stuff!

Thanks Valence! I'm still struggling a bit trying to get my ortho views to match my 3/4 views more accurately so I did more studies on just that! Study of determining depth in 1 point perspective and how to transfer dimensions from a side view to a front view in perspective. Will post more updates of my engine room soon.

Study trying to figure out how to transfer angles from side views or front view into perspective. Still haven't figured it out yet.

So here starts the beginning of my tutorials. They're going to be more like tips on design and perspective. I'm going to keep the presentation simple since the focus is on sharing knowledge. I'll also give credit where it's due. I do warn that the stuff will be very technical based...so if you don't like drawing this kind of stuff you may fall asleep :P

Constructing different angles within a box in 1 point perspective.

How to transfer the exact angle and length from a side/front view of a ramp into perspective.

Constructing windows that are slanted down and perpendicular. This will be clear with my next update on my engine room.
