Finally got the gold on the True Scotsman track AND nailed the landing on the shortcut!

Checked the global leaderboard and I was... about 42,000th

I've been putting it off since they announced a rewrite of the storyline. Seemed a good place to stop and wait. According to Unknown Worlds it's mostly some fine tuning left and you can play the game "almost finish", but I think I'll wait for the announcement that it's officially done. Not sure whether that'll be January 5th or like.... April - only "early 2021".

I am now on an island with an angry boar (sorry, hog) that has placed itself between me and my raft & camp fire.... there are snakes on the ground and darkness has fallen... :dry:

Edit: I tried to attack it from a safe distance with spears. I'm fairly confident I missed it entirely with every single one. Then I tried running to the safety of my raft and managing that I got a bit over confident and tried to attack it with my axe. Then I died. :dead:

Tried again, armed with a bunch of spears. Missed almost every time. Got in 3 hits before it killed me. :dry:
(And it still looks more like a hog than a hamster)

GOG said their sale was almost over so I caved and bought planet nomads. Note to self: Stay away from yellow egg-pumpkin-thingies.
