Will grab that too next time I log on. 
It was only after my millionth consecutive Witcher death that I realised that the gang of six nasty monsters had a level that was more than double my own. So I'm going to blame it all on that ... as well as the fact that I'm rubbish.
And I also encountered some deserters whose level was so far above me that the game paused itself and actually advised me to run away. And even then they chased me down and killed me.

Perhaps I should just give in to linear game design and follow the quest markers to do the mission they want me to do instead of trying to explore the lands.

Any an all misspellings are henceforth blamed on the cats.
Just wait until you encounter an enemy whose level is so much higher than yours it's defined as a series of question marks instead of a number. That's when they start to become difficult to deal with
