Well the Event goes on until the 7th and the old witch is still there offering the crow-related quest that I don't want to do.
It's all a bit vague trying to work out which enemies drop them. I thought it was just the elite, dangerous baddies (you know, the ones with the extra shielded bits at the side of the health bar) but yesterday's adventures proved me wrong.
If my "reliable" mini boss doesn't spawn again today I may go ahead and create the next character that I've been planning in the hope that the tutorial boss might drop some event loot.
Edit: And I may as well shrug a third time.

I'm once again home with a headache. I decided to look at my mods and try to find the one that keeps people from following through doors, because people are obviously following me through doors. Turns out I missed it when reinstalling everything. So now that's done and I took a look at the info on my follower Hjoromir. He's kind of funny but it turns out he's the only "interesting NPC" that does NOT level with you. Which means he enters bleedout rather too quickly at this point.

I think I need to ditch him. I also think I'll miss the
"Stendar's mercy, I think I broke one of your items! Nope, false alarm. It was one of mine. Your items are perfectly safe with me!"
"A cave! Was I supposed to bring a torch? I forgot."
and
"I think I dropped my sword outside the city gates! Oh! Nope, there it is."

I know you're not playing it now so it doesn't matter but this is what the difficulty differences are...

Do you have a big problem with NPCs and doors in Skyrim?
The only time they follow me through is if they're talking to me when the loading screens kick in. I think that's what caused that weird death in Solitude but it doesn't happen often.
And I looked at that adoption mod and you're right, it doesn't give you the ability to send the kids to different houses. I don't really know what to do with Sofie now cos Breezehome seems too crowded as it is with Lucia, Lydia, the dog, all the cats AND my two followers.

You get a bigger house and move them all there.

And yeah they only follow through doors if they're talking to you while you go through but I find it annoying, especially if they follow me into Breezehome for instance. You don't just walk into a person's home like that! (Never mind that our characters so it all the time... ) Anyway so the mod prevents them from following.

Hjoromir must have heard me posting earlier because he got stuck in bleedout and then disappeared entirely. He's now back again but still in bleedout. Meanwhile I realised I can keep him until I have built lakeview and then he can stay there and I won't have to feel like a meanie for abandoning him.

That idea was a big No as well.
But at least I have a third character now. This one's a redguard woman who is currently using a bow but may switch later to a staff of some kind. And I'm using the Warden class this time so that I can have some animals fighting for me. Just a diving cliff racer at the moment but it works well with the Snipe skill.

My warden don't even know how to make animals for for her. I haven't been on ESO for days... weeks? I don't think it's been weeks.

My redguard woman has just built Lakeview, but as usual I am using console to furnish most of it. I did put in a couple of children's beds though, just in case. And then I tried to tell Hjoromir to live there but he doesn't get it. Poor kid isn't very bright. (And I say kid because the dialogue implies that he's fairly young, but he looks like he's in his 30ies Well, I guess that makes him a kid compared to me... )

It's part of the  Warden Class Skill Line  that goes onto the bar with the number keys. I was starting to enjoy that combo with the bow. I managed to scoot through the tutorial baddies really quickly. I even went on to quickly do the Hooded Figure quest to start the main story but even the big baddie in Coldharbour didn't give me any tickets.

I did a bit more research (far too late, I know) and I should have been exploring more delves to get the goodies. The other prologue quest had sent me into some delves without me realising which accounted for some of my lucky tickets, along with those mini dolmen ones which don't want to spawn any more.
I may try to explore a delve or two over the weekend if I don't run out of patience with it.

I'll be glad when the event is over and I can get around to playing another game.

Right... The Hooded Figure. That's not the one that pops out of thin air to tell you to go talk to someone who happens to be really far away from where you are at that point, I guess?

The Hooded Figure tells you about the Benefactor and they weren't too far away for me, they're both always in the same town/city anyway. Which city depends on your faction, it's either Davon's Watch (Ebonheart Pact), Daggerfall (Daggerfall Covenant) or Vulkhel Guard (Aldmeri Dominion). If you were a wood elf it'd probably be the last one. Maybe.
That's the only one I haven't done yet. That'll be my fourth character.

After that...
