I think you can feed on them if you're a vampire. Probably not if you're a werewolf seeing as they are unkillable. Unless you have a mod to make them killable.

I think I'll pass on the mod. The game has already been strangely buggy for the last couple of weeks or so. I had a moment where I had to reload because I was stuck unable to equip weapons or pretty much do anything the other day, and I have had Ice Spikes permanently stuck on me for at least a week.

If you travel with Valdimar that's not a bug.

My stormcloak has now reached the same spot she was last time, in the stormcloak rebellion, where the questline stopped working. It seems to work fine so far. Or maybe it was the next step? I do find it a little unpleasant to get everyone "on the other side" angry with me, so while I think I need to play someone who joins the imperials at some point, I think most of my games will remain "undecided" in terms of taking sides...

Anyway, what bugs did I encounter today? Well, the guards in the keep at Markarth kept saying I was trespassing even before I was. And later I got a message that enough time had passed for them to forget my crimes. I looked at my crime stats, and ... I think maybe I got a 5 gold bounty for the trespassing? It was the highest bounty this character ever got anyway, and I think she had had a total of about 25 gold. Oh and I had a dragon fly away mid fight and not return. I tried to follow it, but could see no trace of it.

I was gonna make some carriage trips to sort out my house/adoption fiasco today but I ended up just playing ESO as it turned into a productive day.

However it didn't feel that way initially. I couldn't find any white meat anywhere. None of the guild traders had it at any price so I did my usual crafting jobs and hoped that the Provisioner's Pack reward would have some and... it didn't.
But it gave me plenty more mint just in case I want to drink any more of that tea.
So I started hunting some things in the hope that they'd drop some from their corpses.
Alit? Red Meat.
Netch? Nothing useful at all.
Shalk? Nope.
Dreugh? Mostly carapace.
Guar? ....
White meat!
Come on. We're hunting Guar!
So I got my ingredients. Crafted the frosted brain. Collected my Witchly gift (it was the same crafting page I got last time. ) and picked up another Writ Voucher.
I then went off to kill that respawning mini boss and got two more event tickets and a skull which contained another spooky writ for... frosted brains again.
Let's go hunting Guar once more!
This time I got a different page for my Witchly gift.

I also looted some excellent Orichalcum Armour but while I was browsing through my massive, massive outfit inventory I noticed that I now have a few items from sets which when used together can add extra bonuses. In fact I have a full set of the Red Mountain gear which spawns some volcanic fire when you attack so I started wearing that for a bit as well as two bits of the Shalk set which boosts your health.

After that I pondered doing the kill-10-vampires endeavour. I was a bit annoyed at that cos I was killing loads of vampires the other day. Why couldn't it have fallen on that day? But I could always go back to that place.
So I did. But all the baddies weren't vampires now.
You see that was one of the Prologue quests which mess about with the continuity and actually happen at a different "time" to the rest of the stories so the vampires were only around "then".

Never mind. I did have to kill a couple of wasps and after that a young wasp appeared and started following me everywhere...

Yes, I think you're right.

It was only a temporary thing but it was indeed a follower and they do apparently fight for you too. I didn't get chance to see that cos it didn't come with me through the wayshrine on my way home. But at least I know not to panic when it happens again.

I still haven't bought the big eared cat that I liked even though it's only available for a few more days. I noticed that my next level up rewards include another crate so if I level up in time and trade in the inevitable rubbish that I get from it then I may have enough gems for the next tier of goodies. Maybe.
But I may end up just buying the cat anyway.

I didn't get a spooky crafting job today.
But I did get two more event tickets. Which should go towards the new weekly endeavour. Hope that mini dolmen keeps respawning for the rest of the event cos I don't know of any other place where I can get them quickly.
And I almost died doing it today. I killed two of the three first wave baddies then tried to do an ultimate attack on the third by pressing "R". I accidentally hit "E" instead and started sloooowly looting the first bodies while a Clannfear continued to attack me.
Got that potion down just in time.

Also my calculations about that next level reward were slightly incorrect so I may be getting the big-eared cat soon.

Mini dolmen? Is that some sort of food?
