Meanwhile I have just been through the bleak falls barrow for the third time in about a week (or since I got Skyrim up and running on the new computer...)

I now have three characters. The good, the bad and the stu.... naive (a.k.a. Stormcloak). Maybe I'll settle for that for a while or maybe I'll recreate my mage too. Or the thief. Nah, the bad girl is a thief anyway. Anyway it's a bit weird because I haven't installed anymore mods, but things are appearing on this play/character that didn't show up for the other two.

Then again, I like it when unexpected things happen, so It's all good.

That reminds me, I need to continue my Skyrim journey to Windhelm to adopt that flower girl. I intend (if possible) to ship her off to the nice house in Solitude so that Jordis can look after her.
I think that half completed quest in ESO is also taking me to Windhelm next so I may start getting confused again.

Hi from ESO Windhelm. 

I decided to finish off the big woman quest first and do the Skyrim stuff tomorrow.
And it was a fun one and I got some good loot that didn't completely fill my inventory slots. Quality over quantity.
Now I finally have some pauldrons that I don't hate. Some of them are so big that you end up looking like a 1980s Romulan!  I still wish you could hide them like you can with your hat and I often just do without them but when I need the extra armour in a big fight these will do nicely.
And the big boss battle at the end (another two-stage baddie with double health bar! ) dropped some of the special witchy loot including an event ticket that I can spend at that ...erm... event place. Plus I got a witchy crafting writ for a bowl of eyeballs or something, but I don't know how to make it. Will have to go searching around the guild traders for the recipe. The online trade centre website says it isn't too expensive ...... but the cheapest sellers weren't anywhere near me.

PS. Has your other game installed yet?

Palia did finish installation yesterday, some time while I was playing Skyrim. Then I needed to register an account and I couldn't be bothered, so that's as far as I got.

It seems like I don't have the necessary upgrades at all my other houses to adopt the WIndhelm flower girl and take her there. The only dialogue option was Whiterun and there's already a child in that one bedroom. Can you squeeze two in there?

OK, Sofie, here's the deal. You stay here selling flowers a little while longer and I'll go away and research what needs to be done at the other houses and then I'll come back. Maybe? Don't look so disappointed.

And I promise not to slaughter another fugitive right in front of you.

Well that went well.
It wasn't even the right fugitive that I killed.

Back online, I got the eyeball recipe (quite cheap) had to run around to find some seasoning (one of the things I always sell cos I don't need it) and made my eyeballs.
Got a writ voucher as a reward!
Was then given another spooky craft job for brain... something. Looked up the recipe and the cheapest was 2000 gold.
Paid it. Learnt it. The ingredients are more things that I usually sell cos I don't need them.

But I got two more event tickets. I found out that you can get them from killing the mini-boss baddies that sometimes spawn at the roadside to the east on my harvesting route. More loot ensued.

These homeless orphans need to lower there ridiculously unrealistic high standards. "Oh, you haven't actually got a house, well I don't want you to adopt me then", "Oh, you have a house but I don't get to have my own special room, go away", "Oh, you have a mansion and I get my own room and servants, a cow and chicken , a lovely horse in a stable... but you kill people in front of me. Wah!"

Stupid kids 

That's why they should be avoided at all costs

If I could train them to be an army of thief assassins, then I might be interested... or maybe if I could use them as food  But I can't, so they can stay homeless.

Lucia is quite good with that dagger I gave her.
