Good thing I only killed some bandits... And that whole field of dead people wasn't me! I only looted the bodies.

I've realised today that my pageUp and pageDown keys are combined with the numpad, which makes them useless in the skyrim console. I'm going to have to find out if there are other keys that can scroll up and down in console results instead... but for now I've stayed up way too long.

Today I died for the first time in ESO... In my defense I was attacked by at least two nix-ox and a swarm of featherflies (I didn't even know that was a thing) at the same time. Once revived I quickly got out of there only to realise I had only done 2 of 3 things, so I have to go back. Eventually. First I had to go back to Seyda Neen to sell some stuff because my inventory was full. Then it was still almost full so I had to go to Vivec city instead and on the way I got a bit lost and found one of the potential player homes. Bit of an odd floor plan if you ask me, but otherwise quite nice.
Once I got to Vivec city I was trying to get my head around crafting and such but without much luck. I also keep getting lost in those darn buildings, but eventually found my way to a person with a quest marker and they gave me a room for free!
It looked a lot brighter than your room, Val, though it hasn't got any windows. It does have a floor candelabra, though. And now I have no idea how to furnish the place. I did see some furnishing vendors earlier, but most seemed to be achievement related and the only one who wasn't seemed to mostly sell rocks and planks, trees, mushrooms and maybe a very simple table or chair. I guess I should craft stuff, but... as I said before, no clue about that.

The very simple table was the first thing I bought when I got the free room just so that I could move something around in there.
Don't forget to claim the free armoury station from the store cos you can put that in a corner and that has some candles that add extra light. But you will have to take it out again when you get the storage chest as you can't have both things in one small room due to the furnishing limitations.
For crafting you'll need to acquire diagrams/blueprints/patterns and they're available to buy from most merchants and you may finds some lying around as you sneak and steal. However a lot of the stuff requires you to have a certain level of tailoring, metalworking, woodworking etc. and you'll have to learn all the different racial styles too by getting the crafting motifs. Initially you'll only know the style of your own race.

There's something free in the shop?
Well, for now, what I would like to understand is what to do with clothing items I've found. If they're enchanted (and I have one that even says it gives extra experience upon dismantling or whatever) - where do I take them? It doesn't seem to be the enchanting station or the tailoring station or the leatherworks... so where??? I need the inventory space
(Though I did buy 10 more spaces today, too)
Anyway I finished that cave thing, but it seems there's a sky shard in there too so I guess I still need to go back. I've already died twice in there, now.
And the presence of all those other players make me nervous. Same in the city, there's just to much running and jumping and visual effects and stuff going on all the time.
