And apparently I missed installing (and even including) one mod even though I specifically remember checking whether it was the correct version (because the file name contains "legendary"). So now that I do install that mod, watch my Skyrim break again.

But if you downloaded it from the same place as the others it should be the right one. Oldrim/Legendary mods are on a different section of the nexusmods site.

Oooh, there are some new items in the Crown Crates store.
Glad I didn't buy that snow pig cos now I'm tempted by that big-eared Northern Lynx.
But those pirate outfits look cool too and I do always like a new outfit.

I know - that's why I had to double check when I saw the name. I'm guessing maybe they ported the legendary version and didn't actually change the name or something.

Maybe I should take a look in the crown store. It seems you get 500 something when you join which is enough for some sort of noob crate Anyway it had a black panther cub or something in it, which was kind of cute but I think I need to understand the game better before I start spending anything on anything.

Sadly those 500 crowns are pretty useless and it turns most of the store into an annoying tease that's designed to tempt you to buy more crowns. You can only really afford maybe one hairstyle or a couple of clothing dyes. If I had 1000 I could get ALL the hairstyles which would be a nice cosmetic thing to have but unless you pay for it you are not getting any more crowns.

The more interesting part of the store is the Seals Of Endeavour tab because you can get the seals in the game without paying. If you're not doing them yet press P and click Endeavours and it shows you the available challenges. The dailies pay out between 10-20 seals (sometimes with gold or experience too) and the weeklies pay over 200 but are more difficult.

I've seen the endeavors on the... uhm... some sort of area guide? But so far none of them have really been something I can do at my level. Maybe I should have waited with making all those teas and tonics until it was a daily. If that ever happens.

Speaking of teas and tonics they all seem to increase regeneration rates and I think bread adds hitpoints, but I haven't seen anything yet that restores hitpoints in a battle... Surely those things exist?

You probably need potions for that. Stroll over to the alchemy station.
The only time I've consumed drinks is for daily endeavours, oh and that series of drunken fights I had to do. But I do constantly have to make them for the crafting writs. It's usually Bog Iron Ale, Nut Brown Ale or some kind of wine.

And I can't do most of the endeavours either but theres usually one or two that involve harvesting/crafting that can be done by anyone quickly and easily. Yesterday one was making some enchanting glyphs which is a trivial thing and another was to loot three chests and I got a bit lucky with the spawn timing on my usual harvesting route and managed to get three simple ones.

My normal routine when logging in is to first check the endeavours to see if anything can be done quickly or if there's something I can look out for while doing other things, then I run through my crafting jobs which can be done pretty quickly once you have the required things in the bank and then... off a-questing I go!

...oh, and I've also been fiddling with the character creation as I think about my next two characters. I want to do a sorcerer and a warden so that I can play around with those summoned creatures (I don't think the warden class was available at the start but it seems to have unlocked at some point. ) and I also want to do the third faction too so I may be going for a Wood Elf for one of those.

I'm not certain but I think my wood elf might be a warden Or not. I do think the only locked classes required you to buy that necrom thing.

And I have no idea about those "writs" you keep mentioning. I have two glyphs though, but no real idea of what I'm supposed to do with them.
