It's a tough job, but somebody needs to do it. I'm practically leader of the thieves guild because nobody else wants the job. It's not official yet because I decided I'd rather keep hold of this unbreakable lock pick that I told them nobody should possess (I lied because I'm an untrustworthy thief).

I've also signed up to join the companions who have no leader because everyone is of equal standing, but who are very good at dishing out orders and telling me what to do

Yeah, that explanation makes a lot of sense considering that all my other horses are stolen. The mod allows you to "claim" them after you've ridden them for a while but I guess their behaviour remains the same.

Meanwhile I did the Dawnstar tower thing and was quite pleased to find both my human followers were patiently waiting outside afterwards. I had expected them both to scoot off home with the weapons and equipment that I'd previously given to them. Sadly I didn't get anything for all my efforts in the quest.
Maybe I should have killed that other person after all.

Nothing? I usually pick up a bit of loot, a million or so potions, quite a bit of ingredients and a fancy looking huge book...

Oh, I grabbed one of those purple outfits (always the outfits. ) and lots of gold and lockpicks but I didn't get a special reward for the quest. I would have got the dreamy staff thing if I'd been more evil.

I guess the reward is that you can get whatshisname as a follower, should you want to. Maybe? Also, I think the entire village (town?) of Dawnstar is kind of in your debt afterwards. So I suspect it ups their fondness of you somewhat.... But I guess money is never wrong, either

My bugs did seem to run away from the fight just now, so maybe they at least have some sense of self preservation   

I'm not even sure where my bugs are. Haven't seen hem in ages. I know I lost them "under the house" at some point, maybe I should look there again, but I haven't heard them. Maybe I left them at another house...?

I don't have bugs.

Meanwhile strange things happening in ESO. I came out of the bank to find a load of players having some kind of a party. Many just standing round with their bears and things, one dancing about in the light and two more playing bagpipes!

 

And it sounded awful!

I stood there and scratched my head at them for a while.

And I'm running short of Oko again.

EDIT: Apparently the Netch Bagpipes are a new reward in the crates and store. It currently costs 2000 Seals Of Endeavour.
I have 275.
Not that I'd spend them on that of course.

I listened to Fironet sing yesterday. Not sure the voice actress was quite up to the task. Though seeing as Fironet doesn't know if she is, either, I guess that was only appropriate. I've yet to come across a bard whose singing I actually like. I hate the one I have in Hjaalmarsh.

Ah, that's one of the NPC mods.
I don't have a bard in any of my homes yet. But now I'm thinking about the homes again I forgot to mention that I was able to get another cow at Lakeview after the previous one was killed. And there are two chickens again.
