Annoyingly my Skyrim quicksaves seem to be becoming increasingly buggy and don't want to load in. I keep having to revert to older Autosaves and because of that I just had to kill that Giant again.
Thankfully it was only about ten minutes back. I'll now have to make sure I do a proper save in the menu as well.

And Valdimar keeps on hitting me with those ice spikes.

Stoopid ass follower.

I have a quest mod I hadn't tried so I decided to evaluate it to see if I'll keep it when I reinstall Skyrim and after half of the first quest, I think I can say a firm no to that. This "follower" isn't strictly a follower but she tags along for an initial small quest and keeps getting in the way, pushing me into danger and finally... getting me killed. She deals fairly good damage it seems but I suspect she dealt it to me too - she'd gone down, the draugr lord was going down, but just as I was to hit him with a final arrow, she rallies, pushes me aside and lets him heal and then when they clash, I die. Yay.

You need Valdimar to come and kill her with his friendly ice spikes.

I think I'll settle for just not installing that mod again... She had a super annoying voice too, which didn't seem to suit her character/looks at all. Bleh.

Pesky mud-throwers!

I'll bet it was one of those people that had the snow pig.
I've been thinking about getting the snow pig pet thingy for the other character as I think it would suit him and as I was coming back into Davon's Watch after completing three endeavours (3! ) I saw one of the pigs stood between two players and so I went to have a closer look to see how it appears in the actual game. I just sidestepped past them as they were looking at their maps and reading their books and got up close to inspect the pet. Satisfied with what I saw I walked off and after turning the corner.... SPLAT!
I spun the camera around and saw both of them walking behind me trying to look innocent.

I still haven't bought the pig. Deciding between that and the wolf lizard pup is challenging.
But they're not going anywhere yet and neither are my gems.

Meanwhile Vvinston the Vvardvark actually got in my way a bit today while I was battling some Kwama with both my swords and a flute/whistle. It was a side-quest thing.
But I've now worked out how to dismiss/summon him using the main quickslot key on the action bar so that shouldn't be a problem any more.

I looked up EOS pets and did find the vvardvark and one type of pig as well as several kinds of puppies but no snow pigs or wolf lizards... Either they're too new to be on that page or you're making up your own names for them.

I couldn't remember the exact name for the pig thing. But I've looked it up and it's the Snowbarrow Boar.
Here's the current selection  in the crate section of the store, which is the only thing I can buy from (the rest of the store is mostly for spending crowns which cost real money) but you'll have to scroll a long way to see the things I can actually afford.
I currently have 29 of the purple gems and about 700 of the gold Seals Of Endeavour and should get up to a thousand of those soon.
I do like the stripey cat pet too but I know I'll soon be able to get a free cat at level 24, albeit a non stripey one, so I don't want to waste my precious premium currency.

Pocket Mammoth.

I'd go for the mammoth, that's for sure. Between the boar and the lizard-wolf I think I'd choose the boar (I think I prefer both lizards and wolves that are more like themselves, rather than a mix)

Wouldn't a lizard wolf hybrid be a wizard?
