I really, really dislike this chap more than you could ever imagine.

 

It's almost like I'm an NPC in HIS game and he's levelling up at my expense. Whenever I'm nearby he always finds me, arrives after another captain has knocked my health down and then smugly finishes the job and gets promoted making him even more difficult next time.
So... I ran away from that area and started tracking Gollum for a bit.
Who then led me into this trap where several spear-wielding fellows started charging at me.

 

But it looked very cinematic with the light shining from beyond the hills so I'll forgive him.


EDIT: And in Death Stranding I've discovered the pose/expression settings in photo mode.
I am now going over there...
 
But it's a long way down that hill. Time to learn how to use the climbing rope.

Damn those mudcrabs!
I never thought I'd die by mudcrab. Several times.
And they killed my horse. :angry:

First time around the crabs were joined by two wolves and I died. So I decided to go for the wolves first, and encountered a troll. After that, while I was taking care of the wolves Lydia was saving me from being stabbed in the back by a bandit. While we tried to take out the rest of the bandits a dragon attacked. And then, when I went for the crabs, my horse had run to an unfortunate spot. Too close to where the crabs were for me to get it away safely, but - I had hoped - far enough to be left alone by said crabs. Because after I was killed several times, I had the bright idea to get up high where they couldn't attack me. Unfortunately this led to them spreading out and attacking the horse instead... But, better Horsey than me. Or so I try to tell myself...

I'm starting to totally lose track of what to do and where to go and why and who's who... I just pick a quest in the long long list and try to get it done... I think, if I ever start another character (and I probably will, eventually) I'll try to finish as much as possible in one place before leaving for the next.... every time. Maybe.

I have ended up back in Morrowind  I also have a huge list of quests to do, but the more I try to clear them, the more get added, so I just go with whatever I feel like at the time. I also need to find some sun screen from somewhere, the Sun is really starting to get to me 

Well, I was kind of just exploring near one place and suddenly found myself at another place I was supposed to get to anyway, so I went inside. But, it's bedtime, so I', just gonna have to stay inside until tomorrow.

Btw I don't care much for draugr deathlords. Or atronarchs or whatsits. And I was so happy about my new better bow but I'm already back to feeling like it hardly makes a difference whether I hit or miss I guess it's a good thing I have Lydia even if she keeps pushing me about and stepping on me and going "ow!" as if I was stepping on HER.

There's a spot outside Whiterun to the west (I think? ) where there are about seven mudcrabs that all appear near a small pool and I can even die there no matter what level I am when they all start swarming around me.

Unfortunately they can knock you off and kill the beastie, so the fight continued on foot and guess who turned up again?!
 

He was supposed to be over the other side of the map, I was keeping an eye on that to stay out of his way but he tracked me down again and is level 12 now!
But...
I got him!!!

Yes, yes, I know I have a room a mere bridge away and three other homes. But it was the middle of the night, cold and snowy and I was carrying an awful lot, and I just felt like a cosy place. Also, the jarl of Windhelm makes you thane but apparently won't give you a home, in spite of all the wrecked houses, so...  

And while looking for something like the room divider to place opposite the tent as a wind and snow breaker, I found out what the Skyrim people call the furnace... "Break-it downer". No wonder it's hard to find what they call furniture. Maybe carpets are "Walk-all-overs"?*

*I'm not certain this was the only furnace in game, as when I placed it I only had a misc category that could make iron ingots. But they don't have anything that is actually called "furnace". 

I think there is a house in WIndhelm but getting it may be linked to joining the Stormcloaks in the war.

EDIT: And don't google it. Some of it involves that other quest you had trouble with.

me? trouble? hmph. I'll have you know I entered that cave yesterday out of curiosity and apparently completed TWO quests in the process. I also have such terrible memory that I can't really recall what I've failed with and given up. There was someone or some... maybe draugr. Then again draugr are everywhere. And I still haven't used those scrolls... But for the moment I am taking swim.
