Well great.... there he comes and kills me straight away again. This time because my tab button didn't actually react when I pressed it.

I'm wasting so many potions... I think I'll have to reload an earlier save and give up. He obviously has an enchanted weapon and I think he uses magic too, but also my tab just doesn't seem to work sometimes. Maybe I should quit and reload... But I suspect it won't help. (And I have a rather bad headache which will only get worse if I have to fight tough fights...)

Delayed, health draining attacks are evil in whatever game they appear (I remember far too many of those deaths from Vampyr, Witcher, Fallen Order etc.)
And yet, when you get those kinds of weapons/powers they're suddenly lovely.

Have you done any enchanting yet?
The best thing about it (apart from the extra profit) is that you can give your weapons unique names. I have lots of strangely named swords that I try to sell to people.

No enchanting, not much crafting. Found oodles of dwemer metal, made dwarven ingots or whatever, and... can't use them because I haven't really crafted anything but the tutorial stuff in Riverwood. I did find an enchanted axe, too, though. Which I have equipped but not had occasion to use yet.

I was going to smithy some more but found that to make steel ingots I should combine two ores and I had none left as I had just made ingots of everything.

So instead I've spent quite a while sorting through my book shelves and removing all duplicates as well as moving books that belong together between the shelves so they will be stored together. I need a new house, soon, because the Whiterun bookshelves are nearly full.

I forgot to mention I now have a blissful little bug in a jar. No idea what it's for but I remember you talking about placing such jars somewhere...

Edit: and I was attacked by another dragon, just outside of Whiterun. I hid under a bridge and apparently it got bored and flew off. Then I could run down river and harvest dead fish. And I saw my first sabre tooth kitty. Luckily it was on the other side of the stream and did not seem to want to get wet. 

I have the bee and the moth. There are five in all, they have little runes written on the bottom but no-one knows what they mean. They're probably just collectibles unless there's a secret quest that nobody has discovered in the last decade.
So I just keep them on my Breezehome shelf.

hmm, yes I think he came from the general direction of Rorikstead

Sadly, although he often seems to go in the general direction of Whiterun, if you follow him he doesn't end up there and his destination implies he's someone else. Or maybe they're both the same person?

Get a horse and follow that headlessness.
