I'm no good at enchanting but I just realised I think I killed someone called.... Val? V-something anyway.

Edit: and retrieving all the loot from there is going to take ages....

And then I encountered more cats!
Yes, don't bother catching those rats in the stables when Bayek's here handing out pets and scritches...

 

After several minutes of that I moved on but they followed me and then suddenly there were three of them!

 

I do like the cats (of course I do) but I was trying to find a papyrus round here and they just would not leave me alone pushing around my legs and meowing.


I did eventually get round to doing an actual quest and annoyingly had to tag along and follow a gang of five other people who were the least sneaky NPCs I've ever had the misfortune to meet. And not only that, they decided that the best way to lead me to the bandits' hideout was through a large group of crocodiles.


The gang all survived. Which was nice for them.

And maybe you should have followed that gang at a bit of a distance...

I decided to get back to those grey beards and Ivarstead. Which I had a lot of trouble finding again, considering I'd already found it before... And in spite of saving shields specifically so I would have a good shield when I had to face the trolls again, I forgot to bring my fancy new dwarven shield with me.
