I've only just found out my own name so I'm not the best person to ask.

Playing a bit of Mass Effect after a break of a few weeks. Now what was I doing before...

Oh, yeah. I remember now.

And now Ashley's dead again.
But I remember acquiring the revive power last time!
Which key is it again?
And now I'm dead too.

Goes off to google everything I've forgotten.

EDIT: Also... (I forgot to start with this bit) ...when I launched it it opened in 4:3 mode at 1024 pixels.
I'll do you a deal. I'll try and remember the controls if you try and remember the settings!

I finally got started on moving stuff from my "new" computer to the external drive so I can send the computer for service (seeing as I don't know if I'll get it back or not...) and had to uninstall a couple of games to make everything fit. It's 1 TB

I have left Brelyna at my house to do stewardly steward things.
I have travelled to Riften and beyond.
I have arrived at Fort Dawnguard and heard the lecture from Isran.
I have acquired a crossbow!

Now come on farm boy, keep shooting into these crates so that I can steal every single bolt you fire.

 

Let him fire away while you explore the place and collect his arrows later? I'm sure that's more fun than watching him practice....

Once I had a decent amount I did leave him to explore. I was hoping to find an outfit but I only got the Dawnguard gloves.
I'm sure I'll get the rest later. Of course the big boss man sent me on a mission and... *looks at map* ...it's miles away!
I probably won't get there until next week. The naughty vampires will have to wait.

Uhm, explore more. There's almost an entire outfit set to be found in the castle/fort. There are some heavy and some light armour things, but I can't remember exactly which ones. Boots and shield, at the very least, I think. Possibly a helmet...

I revived Ashley!
And then died again. And again. And again.
Sometimes it's just one shot and dead. Meanwhile I'm shooting and shooting and shooting and the baddies are not dying.

I don't know why I'm so bad at Mass Effect.
I'm similarly bad at the Fallout games too. I think I must choose the wrong weapon for my character or something. Or maybe I don't modify it correctly. But I really am very rubbish indeed. At least in Starfield I could fall back on my stabby skills.
