Am I rubbish at that one too?

 I don't know, there's no racecourses in it, so probably 

Yay! I'm not rubbish at Mass Effect.

I decided to meticulously go through all of my inventory and equipment and upgrades for myself and every other member of my team and realised that when the game had annoyingly reset all the settings it had also, more annoyingly, reset all the equipment and weapons to the super-low level stuff.
I, and poor Ashley, were all trying to shoot all these snipers with a pathetic gun that had an accuracy rating of 1 instead of the 35 point shooty thing I was supposed to be carrying.
So once I had equipped all the correct items for everybody (again!) this mission was actually rather easy.

The only tricky bit was the decision at the end. Hmm, should I deal with the Shadow Broker?
Yes. Yes, I will.

Now that everyone has the right gear again I pushed on with the one of the main missions. And I'd forgotten how good the story is in Mass Effect. More recently I'd just been getting through the "Assignment" side missions and they do get a bit repetitive but this quest was rather exciting and interesting.
I also ditched Ashley for Tali and I'm glad I did cos her tech skills/powers were very useful for dealing with those Geth shields.

I'm really enjoying Mass Effect now after sorting out those issues and returning to the story. So much so that I've even started to think about buying the Legendary Edition that's currently on sale for a couple more days. It's certainly a lot cheaper than buying the other two games separately but I'm not sure how the saves/story would be transferred.
But maybe I'm getting ahead of myself. I'm only about a third of the way through the first one after all.

I think I may have found a fridge for the body.
Assuming I haven't been lied to again. Some of these people here are way ahead of me.
But I'm catching them up... Slowly. Quietly. In a whispery way.

But now I don't know if I should start "forgetting" my internal thoughts. I don't have much space in there should I have any new thoughts. It's a new kind of over-encumberance.
I should Google to find out how all this thinking works.

Oh, and I don't think I'm a fascist. My growling stomach seemed to suggest that I was but...


EDIT AFTER SWITCHING TO MASS EFFECT:
They want me to do melee attacks? How do you do melee attacks? There are no melee weapons.
*goes into settings to find the melee button*
There is no melee button.
*googles something else*
Huh?! 
Apparently there's a melee button in the Legendary Edition but in my version I just have to get really close and "shoot" and Shep automatically does the melee. But if I'm not close enough then he'll shoot them anyway.
But I'm not supposed to be shooting these people.
This might be a bit awkward.

Also... why is everyone's health bar green after that last Mass Effect mission?
