Indeed. A swimming pool would be nice
But alas there are no such things. Apparently one can fake them by making tables blue and putting them close together and then putting "building blocks" around them, but I'm not sure it would look very convincing... I did remember that there's a small gazebo/archway with wisteria on it that I could probably place over the path but it might look out of place... and I'm considering trying to build another tower, except not one for climbing and stargazing this time. Not sure I can manage anything nice looking, though - and first I need to gather oodles of new materials... I'm down to one piece of sapwood!

Meanwhile, instead of going to bed, I ended up going back to plot #3, my collections (or is that plot #2 maybe? Maybe the plant nursery is plot #3) where I have decided to make some sort of museum/market/restaurant area (just like everyone else in Palia) - and rearranged a bunch of stuff. I think it might work out well. Once I have all those more materials.

I also remembered that I wanted an aquarium on my main house AND that I had an empty looking corner so now there's a fish tank and a butterfly terrarium in that corner. And a plant, and... a few more things...

...and now it's BED.

Today I realised a water feature could be a fountain.
I did consider it yesterday, but never realised it could be what you suggested. Anyway, there are 3 fountains I can make in Palia and none of them would fit well in those locations.

(I use one, the simplest, as a "water bowl" for my kitsuu, which is like a kitsune quest reward thing and the other two are just too fancy.)

Empyrion is a bit of a struggle to enjoy.
It doesn't like controllers. Actually it didn't even like the mouse at first, I had to use the TAB key to get to one button so I could then press Enter instead of clicking (that may have been a GFN thing though.)
But the UI is a complete mess and so awkward to use and the tutorials explaining how to use it are equally awkward and difficult to use. I have to select a "video" which is really just a text window which appears above another blank window and then the blank window doesn't go away afterwards so I have to hit TAB again to get the mouse cursor back to click the little X to close it.
And how does the Tech Tree work. I'm supposed to Unlock something but I don't know how and I can't even locate it among the numerous poorly arranged blueprints.

At least it looks pretty with the grass and those rings in the sky from the massive nearby planet. 

...and your flowerbed looks like a lot more fun than my rock shooting.

I dunno about fun. One can't actually use it for anything, not even sit on it like a sofa/chair. But it's a pretty bed and I wanted to use it somewhere and since it has a "roof" I figured I'd put it outside. You can place things on the roof and you can grow flowers on floors so I was hoping to grow flowers on the roof of the bed but unfortunately that wasn't possible

I think it took three days to get enough flower seeds for all the flowersies. But at least I have something ("a feature") in that area of the garden. (It's in the scribbles, though, so not one of the empty areas with question marks....)

And as we all know, looking good is the most important part of a game
(though a sensible UI helps.... )

I've been to that Mehrunes' Shrine before on more than one occasion and I never noticed that he was there looming over me in the rocks. Or maybe I just forgot.
No, I would surely have screenshotted that before if I'd noticed. F12!

Anyway, the Razor is now complete.
I also got myself one of those Mythic Dawn outfits to strut around in. Bit disappointed that I couldn't find a separate hood. I used to wear that a lot in Oblivion.
And I'm now ready to start the Dawnguard thing. Just stopping off at home via Whiterun so that I can sell Ysolda some of that special stuff.
I think I'll probably have to make some follower changes too. I know that you obviously end up with Serana for a while and I'm not sure how that will affect the ones with me at the moment. I'll let Brelyna get back to her steward responsibilities (and take that Nightingale outfit back) but apparently Arissa uses Serana's AI so I hope it doesn't cause some "problems" too. I'll make a Hard Save just in case.

I had the same problem with clicking in the window when it first started up and have to tab out of it. Once I got control and was able to enter the game and fiddle with options it was fine.

You do stuff which unlocks points which you spend in the tree to unlock the blueprint to craft things, some of the stuff requires a crafting table thingy to craft them, so unless you will only see those items available to craft when you are at said workbench thingy (I forget what it's called).

I haven't played it since the other day when I posted about it and my disappearing hover bike. I might start over now I have a better understanding of how things work. I am mainly confused about building bases and being able to put storage in them. The way storage works is confusing, it's some kind of remote storage system but I couldn't work out how to set it up.

As for Serana, I remember getting to that point and a bit further once. Can't recall what I did after... Maybe I changed up my mods and started over...  

I'm a little bummed out today: I have been waiting for the Maji market to come around again, as it is now a monthly thing. I was at it in late september so I figured we were coming close to the 4 week rotation, but decided to look up the date. First thing I found says "it's now open" and was posted yesterday so I think oof, well at least I only missed a day. So I go there but can't get in and return to discord for more info... Next thing I find says it was open October 8th-14th, so I missed the whole dang thing and they posted a social thing about it being open a day after it closed

Now I have to wait until early november for more market stuff

Well, at least I have done more gathering, more arranging and more flower planting...
