Me, Myself, and I

Brief: Paint a self portrait of er, yourself, obviously... with a Fantasy or Sci-Fi theme.

Deadline: Thursday 30th April, by midnight GMT. After which voting will begin.

This is where you posts your WIPs (works in progress). Final entries should be posted over here: cgartnexus.com/index.php/forums/current-...me-myself-and-i#9912

Challenge rules and guidelines:

Rules in brief:
  • All challenge entries must be your own work.
  • You should post at least two WIP images that are clearly different from your final entry and each other.
  • Your final entry should contain your image (inserted so it shows up full size) and at least two links to your WIP posts on the forum.
  • No chatter in the finals thread – if you have questions, post them in the WIP thread or PM an admin.
  • Feedback is allowed & encouraged together with the voting and in the WIP thread.
  • Deadline is given in UK time (midnight GMT) with a grace period of 5 minutes for getting the post sorted.
  • Each member may cast one set of votes, for their 3 favourites.
  • No cheating! Admins may decide to disqualify an entry that does not adhere to the above rules.

Aaaaaah exactly what I was hoping for <3

I hope all of you guys take part this month - I want to see you all with your secret fantasy/sci-fi touch :D

I have to confess I have been thinking about this theme so I already have a picture in mind.
Can't wait to begin :D

Okay had a little more time yesterday until now and I'm not at home until tuesday again so I painted and painted and... yeah.. had a lot of fun. :D Some elements are there now. Fiery hair and a bit of air and a bit of earth ... more will come ^^

Skin is coming together really well Cherry!

The high cheek bones and the red hair are awesome! Looking very promising and very complex too. Great start to this!!

That's a nice composition and idea there, Cherry, and it is looking good with those skin tones in there.
It's also a very challenging hand pose, if you manage to get those thumbs to pop out of the picture towards the viewer then it'll look fantastic. Having them cast shadows down over the wrists might help that happen but it's progressing well already.
