Cherry: Since the light is coming from above and to the right, there should be more more shadow on the far side of her face. Look at my paint over and you will see what I mean. The graphics on her corset are great! I am looking forward to seeing the fabric take shape too!

Here's an update on mine. It's getting there!

Everything's on the right!!!

It's like driving abroad!

Dom: All that metal is super shiny! I can almost feel how smooth and cool it is.

Schizo: Lovely detail and design there. I like those big wheel shapes at the front, it conjures up ideas of a big flying Penny-Farthing.

I'm arriving a little late so I may not finish this to any level of detail.
I've been trying all week to do some sort of Iron Giant sketch but day after day I've ended up with something that went straight to the bin.
I thought it might be better to scale down the size of the machine a bit and add another figure, and after a bit of research I got a bit of inspiration from Matt Dixon's robot pictures so I'm having a go a that kind of style. And after seeing the progress of the images here I decided to try and start with a more detailed line drawing (which I don't like doing) but at least it's not going to the bin yet. (Yet...)

So here's Londinium's favourite female detective Cher Locke-Holmes with her mechanical assistant and some time valet Doktor Votson!

I realise the engineering is impractical (artistic license!) and the girl's hand is in desperate need of some reference.

Looking good Dave! It looks like the horizon line would be roughly in the center of the image so I think we shouldn't be able to see the tops of those two cylinders.

Thanks, Crank. And yep, I noticed that as well. Just haven't made the changes to it yet. Thought to wait until I merged the image, which I just did last night, with the exception of the bull & rider. Want to work the ground up a little more before I do so.

Thanks again.
