And now this installation failed too? Because of a STEAM error? On Epic???

Took a while to set up an account and then a character, not super long though, I guess. Game is cutesy, so far I have a tent and a chest and a fireplace and they already want me to ask the mayor for a house. I just put up the tent!? But I haven't got any bed or a chair or anything and that's apparently not important.  

Oh and someone added me to their friends. No idea who or why. I was in my home at the time (which is basically your "private cell" in the world...)

Apparently when the free trial is over the stuff stays in the bag for you to take out but you can't put anything in any more.

I now have three more hats and maybe four more pets.

*goes off to start the Thieves' Guild quests so that I can now open the trove chests*

I'm hoping I can also start the Dark Brotherhood quests so that I can get, use and keep the Blade Of Woe. Maybe.

Well it didn't really feel 1st person in the trailer... but who wouldn't want to be Indy?
I saw a girl in Palia today whose name was Indianora Jones or something like that

Speaking of Palia, it reminds me a bit of ESO - at first you appear magically in some sort of ruin being explored by some sort of elf (and her robot), then you run past all these pots and vases on your way out, and I found my way to the "Sewers" today where they had some game machines and more shops and stuff... Kind of like.... uh I forget.... Vivec City, was it?

I've been fishing and catching bugs but I haven't been able to bring myself to shoot at anything with my bow yet. And I've harvested carrots but I don't know how to cook them. I can make grilled fish but I'm not sure how to make fish filet first... The NPCs are starting to offer selling me things for gold but nobody has offered any advice on how to make gold... (I do know how to sell stuff, I just don't know what NPC buys what, apart from the fisherbot, or what I should sell vs what I should keep...) It feels a wee bit backwards, honestly. I've also been gifted several furniture recipes and each one unlocked another one but still no bed of any kind.

Well, I found one needed hides and stuff for crafting so I have started hunting. I also realised that I never did need to make fish filet to cook it, I just needed to check the "use star quality materials" check box because all my fish were star quality, somehow. I've also made about 900 gold and used it all up. No, wait, I think I must have made 1000 because I still have about 100. But there are plenty more recipes and such to buy...

I've also found quite a few treasure chests. One gets to keep all the empty chests too, but unfortunately they're merely decorative. You can, however, also gift them to NPCs.

Speaking of storage, my (temporarily double) bank is pretty much empty now.

And I now have the Thieves' Guild Leathers and the Dark Brotherhood Shrouded Armour in my costumes. I also have Blade Of Woe (it works like a skill thing rather than a normal weapon) and I got a really good purple dagger that's way better than my other stuff. For now.
It'll obviously become more and more rubbish as I level up.

But even though I progressed in the Assassination quests I still don't seem to be that good considering how much bounty/fines I had to pay out. Surely I'm supposed to not get caught.
Never mind.

And I had several other players following me today. One person (along with their NPC companions) walked behind me for a very long time before deciding to vomit on the floor.
I'm sure they meant it in a nice way.

That was while I was up in Solitude trying to start that Antiquarian Scrying thing that I don't understand yet.
I'll google it at some point.
