I'm not sure I'd like progressive lenses. One of the reasons I haven't been to the opticians for 15 years is the inevitability that they'll give me those.
Supposedly you have to make sure that you're looking at things from the right angle instead of peering at things in a suspicious, side-eye way.
I remember seeing someone struggle with them once and they kept telling themselves to "point the nose" at the thing they wanted to look at.

You could always go for the two or three different glasses all hanging around your neck so you have to keep changing between them when looking between different things....

Just saw two low level players having a duel in Davon's Watch and they were even worse than me at fighting.
It went on for aaaaaages as they were completely unable to kill each other and ended up having to run around the perimeter of the ring healing themselves. I felt like reaching for a Mortal Kombat voice to shout "Finish Him!!!" at one of them.
I got fed up of watching them in the end and instead strolled off to the outfit station to tweak the colours of some clothes. You know, important stuff.

Merlin just tried to open both Epic and GOG launchers (and yes, he set the keyboard to all caps AND English...) so I can now inform you that the current free game on Epic is Sail Forth. On Thursday it's Love. I guess free love is always a good thing Though to be honest I have no idea what it is. The game, I... er, either.

Now that I don't have to worry about holiday writs and event tickets I can actually do some proper quests.
And that means... Wabbajack time!

 

And Mournhold's bank is possibly the least optimized place in the game. I wander around the massive city filled with lots of people and players and my framerate is a nice, healthy (for me) 50-60. I go into the bank, a much smaller building with a fraction of the players and NPCs and the framerate dips under 25!

Maybe I should get around to updating those drivers that NVidia reminds me about every week.

NVidia wanted me to update drivers yesterday and then happily told me the update failed. Twice.

"Claim this week's free game before Jan. 18th" says Epic
*looks at date*

It changes to the new one in about half an hour 

I know. But it IS the 18th, so there's no way to claim the game BEFORE today, today.
Not that I was interested in the game anyway. I can't remember what it was, but I think the next one was called "Love". Or was that last week? Anyway, I decided to get around to give Palia a go which is why I started up Epic, and apparently it now needs to update for like an hour or so....
