I had to get up off my chair to deal with something this evening and forgot to pause the game and when I got back Sam had fallen asleep at the access terminal while waiting for me.

After that I was kind and let him have a proper sleep in the rest room along with a shower. He was looking a bit red after I accidentally let off a blood grenade in his face.
It's a shame that balancing weight and chucking weapons share the same trigger controls.
Before that lots of mountain climbing had taken place as I shipped some stuff to the Spiritualist and I found First Prepper and did the retrieval for him ... without having any climbing anchors or ladders.
Idiot!
It was almost like a scary, snowy Super Mario game as I was literally jumping over enormous drops between some terrifying ledges to get those foolishly placed packages.

I played Skyrim in my new glasses yesterday. It went fairly well. But I still can barely read the screen so I doubt I'll be able to start using them at work, yet. Or ever. Anyway, I was mostly exploring and making sure unmarked stuff ended up on my map in case I needed to go back later. I found a falmer "hive" but it was oddly empty. There were a few, and a couple of chaurus, but also already dead bodies of falmer. And some dead bandits. Maybe they had a fight. Maybe something else killed all of them?

Do your blurry eyes need to be closer to the laptop or further away?

You should look for one of those depth-of-field mods so you can change the blur to match your glasses.

Actually I can't find a spot at any distance or angle that feels OK. Sometimes it works to hold the glasses a bit away from my face though...

(And speaking of depth of field mods, I kind of feel like I'm watching a 3D movie without the 3D glasses.... ironically)

You need a longer nose then. Problem solved.

I'll go talk to Mr Burns, see if I can borrow his.

It does sound a lot like they screwed up your prescription

I am a bit worried actually. But it might also be that my right eye takes longer to adjust because that's the eye which had changed the most since the last pair of glasses. Anyway I have another kind of eye exam at the end of the month, so I'll probably have to wait until after that before I can know for sure. Maybe something else is wrong...

On the other hand I am near the optician the day before the other eye exam...
Well, either way, I might notify them via email that I'm not sure this is working (though they do say it can take weeks to get used to progressive glasses...)
