A Dark Fissure spawned right above my head!

 

If I hadn't correctly panicked and run to this safe distance those three baddies would have appeared all around me.
I was only looking for some flax growing in the hills.
I didn't know the fissure appeared here either, it's a little bit cheeky cos it's next to a tempting little cart with some sacks of goodies. Must remember this location for when I need to fight one of those bosses that appear after you've killed those three.
But I won't be killing them today.
Not in this light armour anyway.
No, I'm off to listen to a load of exposition from Dumbledore instead.

Edit: So back to Skyrim.

I've now used that large load of ingots to work on that new house and have constructed most of the first two blocks. Took me a while to work out where the Quarried Stone was mined amidst all the snow. Managed to do quite a bit of the interior too but couldn't quite get all the beds due to a straw shortage.
I then moved onwards back to Windhelm again and successfully adopted the flower girl, shipping her off to Breezehome after I'd double checked that there were indeed two beds in that kids room. And while I was in there I checked out the child's chest and it was packed with loot!
Lots of flowers, silver, some gems and a long bow?!
Where is Lucia getting all this stuff from?

on a side note I just noticed that my work computer gives post times (in this forum) in UK time while my own gives in in Swedish time. I did think it odd that I had not seen your post before turning off the computer when it was posted just past nine, but now I see it was just past ten, my time...

I don't know about "eventually", it pretty much happens straight away. Half of the exits in the portal room are blocked off and within the first hour of gameplay I'd found one of these glowy purple chests...

Yeah, this poor character has had to deal with two dragons right after each other three times now, I think.
