So when you say Double Dragon, you aren't talking about the side scrolling arcade beat 'em up?

I remember Double Dragon too!

But not the arcade version.

And if you want to be nostalgic about not-quite-as-old stuff then  the original Half Life  is free for a few days for anniversary reasons.

Yay. Mom called just as I started a fight with a draugr overlord of some kind. I managed to pause and all but when I came back to the computer it decided to do one of those logout things that makes the screen resolution in the game change... So I had to fight without being able to aim and take potions without seeing how much I actually needed to heal and pick things up and try to get up a staircase while aiming slightly to the side of everything.

Then I got outside and there was one of those dragon priests guys and I could barely hit him because I wasn't sure how much to the side I should aim, so I decided to quit and save him for later. I need to do the laundry and some shopping anyways.

Is that a laptop thing or an Alt-Tab thing?
At least you can pause the fights in Skyrim. In ESO you just have to keep going or die.

Neither, I think. There's a screen resolution thing that makes the browser window change size every time I alt tab back from Skyrim - but the game is unaffected. Until my computer decides to go into sleep mode and I need to log back in. The annoying thing is it wasn't in sleep mode - I was back in time, got back into the game and then it remembered sleep mode apparently, went dark and then showed me the login screen and the next time I was back in game ready to fight, everything was .... enlarged. It's mostly noticeable when in the menu - and apparently when trying to "aim" at anything, since the middle of the screen basically isn't where you think, anymore.
