Yeah my first character (the one still stuck on Solstheim) was heavy armour and mostly melee, and the orc is too. My second was light armour and most of them has been, since. It does free up a lot more space for loot. I did intend for my mage to use robes or ordinary clothes but I don't get why they don't just enchant the robes with like "30 protection points" or something. It's worthless not having any armour at all... And it seems to me mages should be able to make cloth protective...

While looking into those furniture crafting recipes/blueprints/designs the other day I found myself getting rather frustrated at the ones I couldn't do and realised that despite playing this game for nearly 70 hours now I still haven't seen a single style book. Not one. (You can automatically craft in the style of your own race but you have to "learn" all the other ones through special books.)
Maybe I've been going to all the wrong places.

And then today, in yet another disguise, I noticed that there's one in this foreground backpack right here!

 

Is it possible to steal it with the guy sat there watching?
Will I have to do a runner immediately after?
Why won't the little "HIDDEN" eye close all the way?
Is it worth trying?
IS IT?????

Yes, it's worth it. What could possibly go wrong 

I tried hiding behind those pots on the left to see if I could reach through with an implausibly long arm.
I could but EVERYONE could see me then. So I went back to the crouching position behind the man but still the eye wouldn't close all the way.
I think I was completely hidden from him but the woman sat by the door at the back seemed to always be looking this way. The other person stood between them was just another player and they were wondering what the hell I was doing creeping between the pots.
The text continued to say HIDDEN but the eye still wouldn't quite close fully so... If it says HIDDEN it should be enough so... so...
I went for it!
And then ran.
And nobody was chasing after me and shouting and fighting!
I got away with it!

I then travelled to that outlaws place to get the fence to launder the item and I sent it through the bank to the elf woman.
And while I was in the outlaws place I checked in with the guild trader there and found that many of the style books were on sale there at surprisingly affordable prices.

A slightly pointless adventure then but an adventure nonetheless.

I just witnessed a man on a horse plumet from the sky and die   Skyrim is full of dangers, watch the skies.

Did I mention my horse once talked? We were fighting a dragon and it yelled something like, Die damn you!

I have a talking dog   it's incredibly annoying and pushes me around while I'm trying to talk to people. I suspect he may die a horrible death at some point 

ESO was well populated today. I wonder if there was some event going on or something?
There were so many people in Daggerfall that my framerate was tanking to 20fps.
So I left the stuttering, non-talking Giblets alone and switched back to the elf woman.
There were more people than usual there too but my PC didn't cry about that. Annoyingly one of those people threw mud at me.
FOUR times!!
He seemed to be chucking it at everyone so I didn't take it personally.

I'm still not finding these runes that I need and the last couple of days I haven't been finding any runes at all. Clearly some of this crowd are rather more efficient at farming all the resources and are clearing them out before I get to them.
Must walk faster.

I ended up not killing the talking dog again  despite how incredibly annoying he was (more so this time as I found him earlier in the game than the previous play through), the axe is two handed and no use to me, while the helmet is still useful even though it's heavy armour. Stoopid dog 

I dunno about the axe but the helmet's pretty valuable as well, isn't it? If one just prefers to sell it. I never like killing the dogs... Well, except the hell hounds. They deserve to die.
