I was hunting a thief in Whiterun and tracked them down to The Bannered Mare. Successfully attacked them from behind but he decided to die and fall under the table from where I couldn't drag or move the body...

 

I don't really like leaving corpses in the various taverns and this is right where I sit with Ysolda when we're having a drink late in the evening and I think it may possibly ruin the mood when I'm trying to sell her some more of the "special stuff".
I tried to reanimate the corpse to coax it to walk out with me but the thief was too high levelled for my spells.
Hopefully he'll just ... disappear.

Anyway... onward to Riverwood. Again. I promise not to get distracted this time as I go in search of Faendal the potential steward.

I resurrected my horse.
Then I resurrected another horse I found nearby (but not it's hunter owner) and set the ownership to jarl siddgeir. I was on my way to Falkreath and I thought it'd be interesting to see if the horse would walk over there. No sign of it yet, though. And seeing as I spent all night just outside of Falkreath trying to kill one of those mod added baddies, I guess it should have had time..

That fight was... not exactly epic. Find a place to hide. Get discovered and killed. Find a place slightly farther away, to hide. Shoot one poisoned arrow. Hide and wait. Shoot another arrow. Hide and wait. And so on until the baddie was dead. It literally took a whole in game night and I almost entirely ran out of poisons. And I'm not sure the loot was even worth it. But at least that character won't kill this one of my characters (again), now.

I also forgot to check why he disappeared for a long while mid "battle" - I suspect he attacked some other poor bugger on the road. Hopefully not the horse.

I considered using a reanimation spell since my vampire also aspires to become a necromancer, but I decided against it.

Then I reanimated the dead Thalmor by the Talos shrine instead, but he ran off to fight a flame atronach together with my horse and didn't survive long. Luckily the horse survived this time. (The previous time it was scared away by a dragon and ran into a cluster of 5 wolves and 4-5 skeletons and possibly said atronach. The skeletons and their necromancer were red dots at the time, but apparently that had something to do with the dragon attack, maybe, because they were peaceful later... )

I am a member of the Dawnguard. I am sworn to kill all vampires  ... except my vampire follower, she's exempt from being murdered. And not me, because for some reason they let me join while I was a vampire and didn't ask me to kill myself  . But all other vampires are fair game 

Just try! I just got a really powerful spell! Which I can't cast because I don't have enough magicka

I will simply run away. More precisely, I will attempt to run away but press the wrong button again and turn you to a block of ice, just like I did to the woman over the weekend which resulted in a fine from the nearby guard  (the woman didn't look too happy about it either once she thawed out).

She was encased in ice all weekend!?
No wonder she was unhappy.

I might try to counteract the ice shout with flames, seeing as they do 8 points of damage when vampiric drain only does 2, but then again I tend to sheath my weapons instead of equip spells whenever I try... Oh well, as long as I am thawed out by tomorrow, when I need to be at work...

Not all weekend, she was walking past me by the time I finished paying the fine. The icey shout is pretty much the only one I bother with most of the time. It is useful for dealing with groups of enemies as you can freeze one temporarily while you kill another. Most of the shouts I have tried out don't seem terribly useful  maybe they would be better if I couldn't already just hit them once with sharp things and kill them in seconds.
