Not one of "those" then.
Meanwhile I'm enjoying the pros and cons of not fast travelling by making my way slowly to Solitude from Markarth.
Pros: Got to take a moment to enjoy one of my favourite waterfalls next to that improbably steep path...
Cons: At the bottom of the steep path I noticed that bandits have moved back into Robber's Gorge again. It is a while since I walked this way to clear it out but... this time they ALL seem to be Marauders.

Oh, and I haven't quicksaved during my slow walk.
I'm all the way back at Markarth!

OK, over an hour later and I've managed to get back to Robber's Gorge again. Phew.
There were a couple of little diversions along the way. First there was a little skirmish with some Forsworn that ended up with a 1-v-1 long-range shootout...
Don't know where Arissa and Ria went. Well I didn't know at the time but afterwards while looking for them they both popped out of the front door of the castle. What were you doing inside??
Annoyingly during the shootout that woman kept doing the sidestep thing behind her little tent so it turned out to be quite a tense duel and if I hadn't got her with the last arrow the next hit would have killed me.
Then later there was a distant dragon circling a mountain...
No, it wasn't one of "those" and I wasn't really interested in chasing it down having only just managed to offload a burdensome amount of bones and scales. So I continued on removing some more random bandits and sabretooths and then had to quickly dash at a necromancer who was Ice-Spiking everything in sight. I hacked, bashed her with a shield to turn her around and as I was just preparing for another axe flurry Ria sneaked up behind her and killed her with a cool assassination move!
I didn't know she could do that! Please do it again sometime.
Finally I retuned to that nice waterfall but was somehow on the wrong side after all my roaming.
Had to backtrack a bit to find a decent place for all of us to cross without getting separated/lost.
But here's Robber's Gorge again. Which I'll save for another day. F5.
EDIT: Plus some bonus assassinating from Mordor.
Hmm, did you hear anything?
Of course you didn't hear anything, you've got a dagger in your ear!

Speaking of Donkey, I am now considering leaving the horse at home with the "dogs" as he's far more trouble than he's worth. I seem to spend an inordinate amount of my time either trying to prevent him getting himself killed (meaning I have to park him a mile down the road from any enemies and walk the rest of the way), or hunting around the area for hours trying to find where he ran off to
It'd be quicker to slowly walk everywhere.
