That last one I had to fight there kept landing right where Faendal does his wood chopping and he feasted on him many times. In the end I had to use the Slow Time shout to try and get in between them before any other deaths occured.

Meanwhile I did successfully clear out the Marauders from Robber's Gorge last night even if it did take five attempts.
I thought I'd done it in the second try but then as I was looting the place the Bandit Chief, that I'd forgotten about, sneaked up behind me and clubbed me to death with two blows.

And with more space on my new hard drive I'm having another go at Star Trek Online (it took too long to patch on GFN which is why I abandoned it before.) Took me a long time to remember the controls, oh and my password, but I did eventually rescue a few scientists from some pesky Gorns.

Slow Time...
That's one I haven't found yet. There's an awful lot of them, really...

I cleared out a cave full of bears... In spite of Lydia and the two nymphs trying to push me down the cliffs... Towards the end of the caves I found 3 more dead bears and thought there much be a bear killing monster further on. But there wasn't, just a couple more bears. I guess Lydia must have been killing those other bears while I was wondering where the heck she'd disappeared to.

But now I have played for too long again and will be late for bed.

I remember once watching a cool gameplay video where someone used Slow Time to catch an arrow that was fired at him, equipped the very same arrow and fired it straight back to kill the bandit with a critical shot.

Back in Star Trek I've just been through a rather chaotic space battle with the "help" of Lydia- um, I mean, Janeway.
I also died several times at the hands of a Mirror Universe version of me, which seemed rather unfair. Where the hell did they get all those shields from?

I managed to get through the mission... somehow. And then... their servers timed out.
I forgot that online games have that added bit of frustration thrown in.
I hope it saved cos I don't want to do that fight again.

 

I see why you had to put it down. Horses always get put down if they break their legs like that.

I didn't touch him (well her, looking at that picture). He/she used to be an adventurer like me till they took an arrow to the somewhere or other. I didn't reload and accepted the loss of another psychotic and suicidal horse. I was left to walk the length of the land alone... mostly. 

Haven't really felt up to fighting much today. I did some thieving (and killing... ) earlier but  then I mostly focused on furnishings. Tried a few things out that I didn't like and decided I should make notes of which ones so I don't have to try the exact same things again, but never got around to it... I put some wardrobes in the entryway (and a carpet) and shrunk the wardrobes because they kind of  crowded the corner shelves, but now I'm thinking I should remove the corner shelves and make the wardrobes normal size again.... and put them closer to the corners. Though if I want them all the way in the corners it might be better to remove them and re-spawn them as the clicky function would remain where they were first spawned. 

 

It still annoys me how hard it is to find info and images of the un-modded hearthfire interiors....

OK, thanks game. Thanks for the detailed info, I'll just sit here and go through the millions of notes I have in my inventory until I happen upon the one I just picked up in the middle of combat and didn't catch the name of until I get the right one which doesn't mention in the title the name of the person I just took it from. 

At least my little Ewok buddies randomly appeared out of nowhere and started helping me out. 

Tip: unload notes and journals when the quest they belong to is done

Maybe I can store them in my brand new free mansion house that I was just given  perhaps I'll do that after I work out what to do with the dead bodies of the previous inhabitants currently clogging up my new hallway
