I have finally arrived in Solitude.

I was trying to look at DLC things in Creation Kit but I can never get them to load in without it crashing. Maybe because I first bought Skyrim without them?

But after looking through the beds in the base game the ones that have proper coverings and not furs are called NobleBeds like this... (000C2A0E)

 

Wikis call them noble too. I haven't tried searching for beds yet. I tried chairs today... There's about a million of those... I must have gone through at least 25 of them. Whereof 7 were the exact same dwemer chair and 7 the exact same dwemer stool and 5 were just invisible nothings. (Maybe markers, but they were named FURN and "Chair" - there were some named things like "InvisibleChairMarker" which I didn't bother with.)

After all my console magic I decided to finish off a quest I had started and left when the boss was too difficult for me. I was hoping I'd level up and come back and it'd be a piece of cake. But the entire cave had reset, and a part that got me killed before, got me killed again, so I decided to leave, upon which I was killed by a single pyromancer I didn't notice when I went inside. (In my defence I hurried inside because I didn't want to bother with a dragon whose shadow just passed by.)

So anyway, I went to Winterhold instead to find a mage I couldn't remember why I was looking for or who sent me after him. But he was easy enough to find. And then I slept a few hours in my tent instead of the bedroom on the other side of that bridge... And now I'm going to try to sleep, myself. The real me, I mean.

Here's every chair reference I could find in the Creation Kit.

 

The duplicates seem to have different anchors on them as if you can only sit down/get up from certain sides?

 

Internet tells me that I have to tweak some .ini files to be able to load the DLC into Creation Kit without crashing.

Thanks, those are the same numbers I find when searching for Chair in the console but more descriptive names. I probably already went through all the dwemer variants and half the invisible ones but it might help reduce the number of ... numbers... I need to test

That website is still down for me but if you search for it through Google you can still access their archived cached version of the pages. Don't know how long those pages last.

how do you access the cached version, though?

First you need to Google something just from that site so type something like...
"site:eldersouls.com skyrim console"

Then in the results you should see that next to the blue clickable links there should be either a little arrow or three vertical dots depending on your system/browser. Click on that and then some options should appear in a little window. Choose the Cached option, or whatever the Swedish equivalent is , and that should take you to the archived page. Unfortunately all the links on that page will take you back to the site that isn't working but any page you can find through Google should be visible and you might be able to save them as offline html pages depending on your browser.

Thanks - I've sometimes seen a link to cached pages directly in the search result but I have never looked at what's "under" those little dots...

Now I have a saved version of that page. And almost 400 more chaurus eggs (those chauruses are creepy - one has to take all the eggs one can find, so they don't hatch!)
