You're trying to install the game you're already playing? :dumb:

Yeah. I can play it on GeforceNow on maximum settings but the one hour time limit doesn't help with the looong cut scenes in this game and GFN's queues are getting worse since Stadia shut down.
So I am installing. :)
But this one is right on the limit of what my graphics card can handle so who knows what it'll be like... when it's finished downloading.

And as it gets closer to completion the download speed suddenly halves. :pout:

Ah :aha:

You did mention all that before but I still didn't make the connection in your last post :dumb:

And once again I have been examining codes for far too late... And I can verify that while most codes from that inaccessible page are accurate, some are not. Not sure if it's a version thing or what... Maybe just spelling errors - after all, he's given one and the same code for two different items.

Unfortunately I've had no luck with what I was actually looking for. I have most of the codes for "scruffy" (Common, I think) furniture, but not the one for the shelves....
I tried an item that was listed as "static" in one of your images and it showed up. I didn't try sitting on it - it was covered in ice or snow.... But those static carpets didn't work... So once again everything seems a bit inconsistent.

And I'd really like to get codes for those "troughs" (both the actual troughs with or without water, like the one for Mila's goldfish, and the containers/crates on shelves or tables in houses... I think there are several versions, but they're not called anything I can think to search for...)

Can you not click on things when the console is open to get the codes?

I didn't know what you meant by the goldfish trough and after a quick Google that's apparently one of those fishing quest things that I don't have. :dumb:
Where is it exactly? I'll try and have a look for it the next time I play to see if it's still there in my world. :)

Meanwhile Death Stranding has installed. Only took 3 and a half hours, which was quicker than I thought. But after a little play it is rather choppy and stuttery, and that's with everything on low.
I'll play about a little more but I'm not sure it's worth it. When the action gets a bit more hectic I suppose it'll only get worse.

OK, in the creation kit I've found a horse trough with the code 0005157A.
It's classed as an Activator rather than a Static but you can place it with the console. I just put one in the basement of The Winking Skeever. :)

EDIT: And it has water inside...

Meanwhile I have acquired a few more frames per second in Death Stranding by switching off the Windows Game Bar. Unfortunately, with it being on Epic Launcher,  that messes up all my screenshot taking antics. I can now just send one per session to the clipboard with PrntScrn, like this...

It isn't too much of a downgrade to the graphics. The only obvious difference (other than clunky performance) is the transparencies, especially when the creepy things arrive. Which is about five seconds after this shot. :argh:

Thank you!

and yes, I am up in the middle of the night. First I couldn't go to sleep and then I woke up at 2 and couldn't go back to sleep... Been ill (head aches and other stuff) for several days now. I honestly don't know why my current employer still wants me. And Merlin left a small blood sample in the shower again. He has been peeing in the box too, normally, as far as I can tell, but now I'm worried about him on top of myself and my job.

Sorry for the 5 am rant.

So I'm just wasting the morning with console experiments and I realised I'd never just started from 1 (or 0 - did I try 0? :hmm: Edit - no I didn't but unsurprisingly 0 did not produce anything at all...)

Anyway, most of the one digit numbers actually "work" though I can't see what they do. 7 produced a copy of me, except in an early outfit... She won't really talk to me, either, though it looks like I have the option. First time I pressed E there was a slight earthquake, I think? No idea why, maybe I triggered one of the invisible somethings. Anyway, A and F turned out to be lockpicks and gold coins, respectively.

I also found the code for a giant firepit which was kind of unsettling as I am trying things in my basement and didn't really want to set my house on fire. Or burn myself alive, but I was forced to turn collision off to get out of it...

And a couple of stone walls - from Solitude, I think. I had to shrink them down to 10% of their original size to see them properly.

(Firepit and stone walls were similar to the water trough code)

Oops.
Not sure if 13 or whatever number I was at meant "close program" or if it just got tired of me and closed down anyway :dumb:

Edit: It was 17 and uhm, yup, instant close down.

Dangerous business this console experimentation :P

Oops again, just now saw that you posted twice - and no, the code you get when in console and clicking an item is the reference to that copy of the item specifically and not the actual item ID. Some people have mentioned using that code to place copies of that particular object elsewhere but I'm not sure how. Just using the same player.placeatme + refID doesn't work, anyway.

Once you have spawned something, though, you need to click the item so you see the ref ID in console before changing it in anyway (rotating, moving, scaling).
