The gremlin huh? Poor thing :cheer:

I hope you manage to get the image up later. It seems to happen every now and then - I'm not sure why people have issues (I've never encountered those particular issues myself)...

Any an all misspellings are henceforth blamed on the cats.

Certainly worth the wait! That lively shading on the horse is special indeed.

Looks quite nice indeed, Thomgirl. ... From the look of your screenshot, it looks like you may be using the new OS Yosemite? I only mention this since I just had a bad run-in with it myself, after accidentally upgrading to it.

I'm only guessing this, going by the flattened stop light buttons on the top left.

I get sketchy around pencils! ...=D

The horse looks awesome! Loving the sharp contrast of the hair against the sky!

Thanks everyone! Indeed Dave, I have moved to using Yosemite. I've heard a lot of flak about it, but so far it's been treating me okay. I don't think it and PS6 get on so well all the time, but the issues are so minor, I'm not gonna worry about it. At the very least though I can surf the web again!

I finished 'Avalanche' the other day and I am, for the first time, getting several prints done of a number of my works. I've been invited to display my work (and hopefully sell it) at local art festival. Still in a small pond, but hey, it's a start! Who knows, maybe the public will pay for the prints!

Actually selling some prints must feel wonderful - I hope you get loads of buyers!

And the horse came out great!

I agree with Charlotte. It's really beautiful. The eye if the horse is just the right side of scary too, so it adds drama to the piece. Good work!

Well, I had my art fest, and I did sell some work! More than anything though it was a good learning experience. I've been rejuvenated to get back to more work and the kiddo is gaining more of a schedule, so, without further ado, my latest sketch:

I think the horns will need some more adjusting, but it might be a shading issue too. Hard for me to tell right now with how rough the sketch is. This is one of my gaming characters from none other than WoW, a Draenei Shaman for anyone particularly curious about specifics.

Thanks to everyone for the support, hopefully I'll get some time to comment on other stuff I've been watching here and there on the site :)
