Well apparently I did say "witch" instead of which... :P But Banj you didn't say those things either! See, kazky's been a naughty girl! No pressies for her this er... christmas... in almost 12 months when we won't remember...

EDIT: You think she'll notice? :P

Btw I just downloaded Krita (free painting software) after reading ImagineFX's review of it - anyone else try it?

I have no idea what happened and seem to have entered an alternative reality!

I quoted you Charlotte?! that's so weird. But just another glimpse of my immense powers.

now what's krita like? I saw the IFX facebook post and then completely forgot to download last night.

I think you probably edited rather than quoted

I haven't tried it much yet but it seems it's probably more than OK for a freebie. :)

I wanted to try krita ages ago but the older versions were Linux only so you had to build it yourself (which I had no intention of doing.) Now the new versions do have windows installers but won't work on my PC. :(

Infuriating, because I've heard a lot of good things about it.

Decrepit XP with (wait for it...) less than 1GB of RAM. Less!

And once everyone's stopped laughing I'll quickly return to the correct topic and say that I actually quite like the long neck. I think it suits the character.

Valence when I downloaded it it saved as a .man file. I googled and it seems it should have been saved as .msi - I just changed the file extension and then it installed just fine. Maybe that's your issue too? :)

No, the issue now is that every developer has ditched XP, and rightly so, even Microsoft don't support it any more.
The main gripe I had was when it was runnable on my PC, about 18 months to 2 years ago, the only ways to install it was through the whole KDE Linux environment or compile it yourself. And that was way too many hoops for me to jump through.

But it is getting some pretty good reviews now, Sycra often namedrops it on his video channel.

I'm a little confused... They do have an XP download.... Is that not working?
