Looking great Charlotte That is one awesome ZZ TOP beard! B)

Line work looks good for only 25 min, it would take me that long just to do the beard, he has an uncomfortably short um skirt tho..

lol
I wasn't even thinking of ZZ top but yeah he could perhaps be an honorary member!
As for the shirt/skirt that was fashionable once you know. All the rage with uhm... hose? I'd actually watched the Swedish version of "The Supersizers..." (called History Eaters in Swedish which seems more accurate to me) just before drawing that guy, and they were in the 16th century. His garb is historically inspired, if not at all accurate :P

After trying and failing to get a Tolkien inspired image out of my head, I was inspired by Mindbenders Game of Thrones drawings and decided to get back to that theme. I only finished one of my earlier attempts (Melisandre) but I had started on Cersei and Danaerys. Now that I looked at them I hated both so I started from scratch and did a new sketch of Cersei. Not entirely sure what I want to do with the background or the exact colouring but here's the wip:

Did some work on the background... As usual I can't eyeball the perspective and trying to use guidelines only make things look even worse. Luckily Cersei herself will cover most of it anyway...

I started on the dress yesterday and basically I've spent all day today not getting much further... But it's fun trying to achieve different types of fabrics :cheer:

I think my monitor must be very ropey, and my screen settings on battery saving mode because I can literally see nothing in that background. Nothing at all. It looks like the negative of Dom's White WIP in the challenge. :)
Let me tweak my contrast.....

.....ah yes, there's a pillar there. And very well drawn too.

Very nice figure drawing though. And I'll be interested to see how this develops because I always find it hard to do those defiant "head tilted back" poses. The chin/neck transition is hell to draw, so I'll keep an eye on this and learn.
