lol yeah I'm interested in seeing if I manage that neck/chin transition too... (I suspect a good reference might be key) Btw I've shortened her neck some, even if I like long necks it was exceptionally long :P

Regarding the background it's meant to be really dark and murky but not totally black... :) And I hope it's visible to most people because I recently darkened my own monitor since everything I print come out way darker than they seem on screen. (Figured a darker screen should make me paint somewhat brighter images...)

Looking great so far Charlotte, I think the fabric looks really good too :cheer: . if you have a dark background you can cast dark shadows on her neck/chin, it would be a shortcut. There's always a lot of that going on in character drawings!

Thanks micro :)

Still noodling away sort of experimenting all over the place. Hate her mouth so far but then I always have to paint mouths a thousand times before I think they'll do... The green on her sleeve (what little I've done yet) turned out more "velvety" than I wanted so... Might have to repaint, or just adjust... Not sure yet...

I think her chin and neck look great now, way to go on that :cheer: The expression on her face with those lips is almost like she got caught taking a swig of vodka and now shes caught and shes like ' so what?!' lol You only have 999 more mouths to paint before you get to what you like ! The green on her sleeve is catching too much light I think , that's causing it to look velvety.

Her head is a little small too. But, that may be because her neck is so long...

Everything's on the right!!!
