There is a gas mask somewhere, I have been stylishly walking around in it along with my amazing miners hat that allows me to see clearly when it gets dark. I don't think it makes a great deal of difference outside of the mission it came from though. I tried it but still had to heal several times in there. I'm now hoping to uncover the mystery of why toxic gas makes you walk much slower than normal, maybe the air gets incredibly dense .

I found a hazmat suit near the tunnel to Kingsmouth. I'm thinking that might work, but haven't tried it. And I'm guessing you walk slower because you're all dizzy and woozy and icky...

I felt the bright smudge in the middle of the lit area, when using that miner's helmet, was rather annoying. But maybe it was due to my screen settings or something...

Yesterday I tried the morse code again, gave up, read the cheat, ran to the place indicated, didn't find anything, went back to the car and tried to double check the solution with the signal but I just can't look at the screen and my paper at the same time . So I looked up the cheat again and apparently I needed to go and die which I didn't feel like at the time, so I did some other quests instead. Maybe next time I die by accident I can remember to go back to the morse code place.

I totally abandoned that game & bought ‘The Dream Machine’ on steam, which is good, sedate fun.
