It was the flippant, "witty" modern dialogue that bugged me. I don't mind that Jaskier/Dandelion is often too contemporary with his comments and asides as it fits with the way they portray him and offers contrast to some of the other characters, but when all the characters sound like that it just gets a bit jaded.
Far too many shows fall into this trap nowadays. It's all Joss Whedon's fault.

I watched those too... and also wasn't impressed. I found it bearable at best, but also disliked the narration.

Just finished watching 'Leaving Neverland' tonight on HBO/Max... Only two episodes, but 2+ hrs. each. - Only reason I watched it, was after hearing it mentioned by Dave Chappelle in one of his specials on Netflix. Actually just threw on all his specials Wednesday, since I don't recall seeing any of them. And needed something to play in the background whilst working anyhow.

I get sketchy around pencils! ...=D

Today I've watched the first episode of "Our Flag Means Death" which is silly but kind of funny and only about 30 minute long episodes :)
(A nobleman wants adventure and decides to become a pirate captain. Not that he knows much about captaining. Or pirating.)

I think that's being shown on normal TV here at the moment. I haven't caught any episodes but I have seen the occasional advert for it.

I'm now watching The School For Good And Evil and the opening few minutes have also been a bit silly. :eyeroll:

Edit: This is not good. Let's see if I can fall asleep instead...

Today I have watched two episodes of Mr Midnight: Beware of Monsters, on Netflix.
So far the monsters have been more silly than scary and the main cast are all teens, as usual, but I've found it amusing so far. I guess it's fairly realistic in how the kids all panic and run screaming when the monsters appear. :)
