It quite funny how nearly all the streaming services are offering the chance to watch David Lynch's Dune in a desperate attempt to cash in on the recent movie. It doesn't seem that long since I rewatched that (and didn't like it when I did) but I have noticed that Amazon have that Children Of Dune miniseries.
So I am rewatching that instead.

Were people expecting Keanu Reeves to suddenly be a competent actor now?
I'm currently about half way through The Wheel Of Time and it's a little inconsistent (but experience is teaching me to not be too critical of big hairy monster VFX: lol:) Also some of the casting is a bit odd. The main characters appear a lot older than in the books (then again GoT did that too.) Rand seems like he's about to start up a Boy Band and Mat looks like he'll be 30 before the end of the series.
