I see Valheim is 50% off on Steam (~€10). I've been tempted to get it since it was first released but every time I look at the characters the graphic style just puts me off. Other things seem to look fine though - and after 5 years it's still in Early Access. Maybe they plan to improve the characters? Probably not.

I'll probably keep thinking about maybe getting it, some time. But not just now.

I tried to play that when I had GamePass but it kept crashing on launch.
And it wasn't running on my PC so you can't blame my graphics card.

And now my update is done.

Thought I'd have a proper go with the base building.
Blocked out the first floor with a working door.

 

Then started to put in some flooring on the next layer and Dogmeat seemed to find an issue with my building skills behind the stairs.

I'd forgotten to check out this week's freebies at Epic, mostly because I think I assumed last week that I wouldn't be interested in "Cozy Grove" (the other game was something war-ish, which I am definitely not interested in). Well, I looked at cozy grove and apparently you help ghosts, in it. So, I got it after all.

Ghosts need all the help they can get.
