Well, there were enough things that seemed somewhat familiar that I think I must have seen it. Yet also lots of things I feel I should have remembered if I had seen it... But the end was pretty much all familiar so, I think I must have seen it after all. Maybe it's the first Blade I never saw and 2 I kept seeing because I thought I hadn't? :hmm:

I guess I'll have to see if Blade (1) is available too, so I can make sure... Some other night.

Edit: Yes, the first one is also available. :aha:

Watching the first Blade movie today. It might indeed be that I kept watching Blade 2 thinking I had seen 1 and not 2 but it was the other way around. Then again, I might have seen Blade 1 as well... That Pearl guy does seem vaguely familiar. Of course you'd think someone like that was very familiar if you'd seen them before :dumb: I think my memory must be way worse than I was ever aware...

Edit: and in this one, A vampire needs Pearl (whatever he is) and a computer to crack a forgotten language, but when Whistler gets handed a small scrap with such text on it, he immediately knows what it says. Maybe the vampire guy should just have taken everything to Whistler to begin with? Not sure how he reads ancient vampyree orwhatsit, to begin with, though... :dunno:

Edit2: And now I'm wondering how sunscreen works for vampires. By the LOOKS of it, the guy only used it on his face, but that doesn't seem like it should be enough... Did he use it on all skin, including scalp? Did he put it in his eyes? :hmm:

Edit3: "This is gene therapy. I'm not sure it will work on Blade. It's in his DNA"
That's why it's called gene therapy, isn't it? :dumb:

Edit 4: After seeing little bat skellingtons emerging from certain someones, I can fairly safely say I never did see Blade 1 before. I think. I mean, seriously, I would have remembered THAT. I think.

Also, what kind of stone did those ancient vamps build their temple from??? Not only Blade's blade (tee hee) could penetrate it but even an old human thigh bone... Unsharpened.

Final (?) edit: Also I need to stop talking to myself.

I think I once watched a bit of the first Blade and didn't like it enough to bother finishing.

Tonight I was planning to watch Indiana Jones and the Dial Of Destiny... but it's a longer film than I expected and after that Death Stranding walk I didn't have enough time to fit it in. So I had to settle for another episode of Shogun instead. I'm about half way through that now and so far it's been very good. Hope it continues that way.
I may return to Old Indy tomorrow.

Now I have also watched Blade Trinity.
It could really have done without Ryan Reynolds. And his girlfriend (the vamp) too. Neither of them seemed to fit in with the rest to me. And Ryan always playing the same character kind of ruins Deadpool, which I originally liked. But he's always Deadpool, isn't he?

I don't want to say I told you so, but that doesn't mean I wont. He was Deadpool even before he was Deadpool

Yeah that's kind of frightening. But apart from Blade's blade now going through metal too, and them talking about a UV beam half as hot as the sun as if it would ONLY hurt vamps, I didn't find it super silly. Though it was a bit difficult getting past that the super villain was basically that pyromaniac from legends of Tomorrow... He just doesn't come across as super dangerous to me.

...and it was a bit longer than it needed to be.
But it was quite entertaining and enjoyable... until the very end. That went a bit too far and felt a little silly. :nope:
