June challenge here: The Leprechaun

and the language...
The people living now (in their past) is "Rusties", kids under 16 (pre-surgery) are "uglies" and the older ones are "pretties". I guess anything else would be too complicated.
Edit: And the logic of their science....
They have flying skateboards, and when they leave the school grounds one of them goes "but there's no grid beyond this point" and the other replies "there's minerals in the water/riverbed. Just stick to the water and you'll be fine"
and they woohoo along above the river. And then they have a chat above a tall tower in some ruins and one of them flies off on her skateboard, without either grid or water. I guess metals are enough? The ruins contain metal structures... But the ground contains metal just like the river bed so I don't get it. Basically the things should fly everywhere if they require so little - so why did they need to follow the riverbed in the first place?

Edit: well, given how predictable everything was I didn't quite expect the film to end as if there's going to be a sequel... It doesn't seem to be certain yet, though the book has three sequels, apparently. Can't see the need for one as the "major cliffhanger" (as one site describes it) makes it perfectly clear that the continuation will be as predictable as everything else has been so far.
Still, I did manage to sit through it all, with the help of quite a bit of chocolate...

Money.
I'm still getting through Star Trek Prodigy but there are quite a lot of trivial filler episodes between the bits of story. At least they're only 25 minutes long.

At least I think they were in Italy. I kind of lost track here and there.
